Really, knowledge of crafting crap has advanced only slightly since Aurik wrote that years ago. Also, "Bryn" is kind of a confusing nickname given that my handle is "Byrthnoth"

If I were to do that, which would be the best way to go about it, excluding magian trials?. Grinding those types of trials is something I don't plan on doing again

In terms of gearing nin? If you want to skimp on it, I would make the af3+2 head and feet at the very least. Besides that, pick up af2+2 hands and legs and kakesu off AH for cheap mainhand, kamome from sobek offhand. Everything else should be stuff you already have for mnk.

There's really nothing to do with cruor anymore besides pay for VW cells, upgrade atmacites, and brews. So unless you need the cruor for atmacites or to brew something else, yeah. You could also kill kur before brew wears for like 50% chance at another KI and a third isegebind on the same brew.

No point levelling nin and gearing it if you already have war levelled. Just gear your war and duo it war/sam + whm/thf.

Sure you can, I farm KIs solo on MNK a lot just use RR,Apoc and MC

I think you'll find that this is going to be really easy once you've gotten started. Capping azure is just a matter of casting holy at low HP percentages. You won't be able to get lights from an exp party since dominion op parties are almost exclusively in Altepa now.
As for soloing key items while your healer is locked, you could probably just plow through stuff one at a time if you wanted to. If you remember, there are only two KIs from gold chests in Ule. so I'd be surprised if you went more than 15 minutes without getting one. Alternatively, I had some success as paladin at level 90 solo pulling all of the spectators and cataclysm'ing them down. Phalanx was a big deal, but I was using brewing atma. You could probably set regen atmas and get similar results.

For you or the whm? From what I'm reading on bgwiki, the only thing it seems to give is subtle blow, the accuracy bonus applies to melee whm's. Its pretty vague, I dont know how many serious tests have been done with it.

Some well intentioned testing was done with it and showed it to be a significant hit rate boost over time. The Acc boost continues to build as you miss more and more and is only reset when you recast Auspice, iirc. It doesn't take very long to cap hit rate with it.

Iirc there is no whitegate fame, just prereq quests.

Also, I edited the Auspice page with a source and some more specific information. I remember another source as well with similar basic conclusions, but I can't find it at the moment. Neither of them did anything quantitative.
