Yep.
When does the Embrava nerf hit the regular servers?
pop a brew and try nuking something with strong resistance to an element? I'm not sure what mob that could possibly be, that is "very resistant, but not immune", since I remember using cata brew on bukhis, and it did garbage damage, and I went through some old brewed dragua logs, and Scission kept getting resisted to shit as well.
Then again, you've brewed shit on test server with your skills set to 0 and you didnt get any resists, right? That seems to hint towards a large macc. How about trying it on a lv30 job as well? Seeing as how melee hit rate has a level based accuracy check, perhaps macc also has a similar level based accuracy check.
In Montenten's spreadsheets what is the correct amount of ODD to to put in the ODD % column for Spharai? Isn't Spharai 3x damage and only on one hand or something?
Can you join a high tier VNM (EX: Kalasutrax) if you never participated before?
Well that would be why raw magic accuracy matters. If I see a relatively strong improvement in magic accuracy, I can easily attribute that to attributes unless the brew has a raw magic accuracy bonus.
Well I don't want to do large sample tests because obtaining such samples would be ridiculous. If we knew of magic where the skill is the sole determinant of magic accuracy, we could easily determine whether the raw magic accuracy exists.
OK i haven't been able to find exactly what im looking for in search.
We just did the first 5 Burrows, but my Grimoire is still blank? No boons even though we did 1/2/3/4 and boss reaching goal 3? I'm confused how do you get the boons?
The researcher says its blank, but when i take it back, it says in the records goal 3 goal 3 goal 3 goal 3
So... wtf are you supposed to do then? make one grimoire for clearing zones, and never use that one on any bosses?
So if I use diligence to stack buffs, no matter how many i put on it, if i ever fight a boss with that book, the whole god damn thing gets erased? Is that how it works?
i'm trying to read everything posted in the meebles thread, but its goin over my head. its fuckin confusing.
That is how it works. It seems if you're buying key items, everyone uses a book to farm the 2 TH boons and the bonus to spoils, say diligence. Then when its time to fight the final boss, the leader uses diligence, and everyone else uses a blank book, like avidity. The leader's boons carry to everyone, so only 1 person actually lost boons, and you can rotate a round of 6 booned boss fights for only 1 set of farming them up.
For regular bosses, you can do something similar, but since your group requires 1-4 to fight 5, it's not quite as easy to rotate them around.
So we're supposed to carry a minimum of 2 grimoires? so the changing is possible. This event has to be the most confusing/retarded thing theyve (added) ever.
Why isn't it just like assault? Sooooooooooooo much easier to comprehend. If no one is going to use any boons and just gun for the bosses anyway (with th boon only) then whats the point of the other (20?) missions, jack shit?
I don't think its actually that much different. This time progression is tied to an inventory item that resets.
Example, to fight Odin, you needed the leader to have 9 entry items, which were all deleted on entry. Everyone else required 3 entry items and they all lost them too. It's purpose was to prevent you from spamming the boss fight. With the 3 mule rotation you can do odin every 4 runs with proper planning, but it still slowed you down.
In temenos in old limbus, you do 3 starting chambers and end up with 3 chips. You have to do a run with each chip to convert the chip to a higher level chip, and then to fight Proto-Ultima, you blow up those chips, forcing you to restart all over again after the 7th run. For Apollyon, it was 4 starter zones to get 4 chips, which all break when you fight Proto-Omega.
Those all actually made sense though, for this, if you fail to change books by accident you fuck up everything.
Anyone know whether or not there is a difference in treasure casket drop rate from higher level mobs (old high level or new GoV mobs) than lower level?
No diff
anyone know the hq rates on synergy stuff. like does it follow the same rules as needing so many levels over cap to get into T1 range. and does base skill, (goldsmithing, WW, etc.) play a factor?
