When colibris cast stuff back at you do they actually cast it with there stats or is it basically just reflected? And if it's their stats anyone have the stats of colibris that can reflect?

Depending on whether the debuff on impact is -% of the caster's attributes or the targets attributes you may be able to test with that.

My understanding is that there is no difference. The advantage is that you can accumulate buffs on one grimoire and clear tiers on another. Then the leader of your party can use his buffed grimoire to enter a boss chamber and the entire party will receive that buff. Your progress through the tiers will be cleared for every member who enters the fight, but everyone except the leader will still have the buff on their other grimoire. The end result is that you can apply the buffs you've accumulated to 3-6 boss fights (depending on the number of people in your group) rather than having to get them again every time you do a new boss. This is currently a little glitchy, though, and a bug report has been filed on the official forums. You can read more about it in the Meeble Burrows thread in this forum.

I've been seeing a lot of THFs floating back towards firing their crossbows. I haven't used mine much at all since Raider's Boomerang was introduced, so I'm wondering- at what point does the acid bolts def- outdo the 3% DW, or is it that people just use the bolts for the versatility (Sleeps/drains)?

in reality nobody knows what they are used for. They insist on DEV posts that one must farm boons before chalenging formidable fiends, yet there is the glitch which happens far too often imo to be a glitch (half the time), that doesn't give you boons. Apparently the "glitch" doesn't happen if everyone trades the same tome, which leads me to believe the "glitch" is intended, ie the "glitch" would be the game actually giving you boons if people trade different tomes. I think they would have fixed it by now otherwise, seeing as they do emergency maintenance for minor bugs all the time.

Trying to farm an egg for a friend's Black Belt. So we're doing "Hills are alive". Have done this with a larger group and now want to do it with 3-4 of us. Any advice? All are well geared on the whole and the mages have Magian etc.

Job options:

Person 1: Aegis PLD, WAR, RNG, MNK, DNC and if needed fairly average WHM and RDM
Person 2: GHorn BRD, SCH, Wildfire COR
Person 3: WHM, BLM, SCH, RDM, COR, BRD, THF and some gimpass PLD... (me)
Person 4: MNK, SCH, SMN, WHM

I understand that Kaustra is enough to keep on top of the regen?

Back when the cap was 85, the EGLS I was with went to farm ix'drg, we managed to pop him on first kill and killed him, then as we were clearing out the adds, he immediately respawned a min or so after killing him when we killed one of the adds, so it seems he has no time limit on repop and can lottery spawn off any of the aerns in those rooms.

Bring Echos. RDM refreshga's, cures and debuffs (addle/silence). SCHs Regen5, Phalanxga, Hailstormga, Klimaform and for the lulz can do (1)Immanence-Aero1 => (2)Immanence-Blizzard5 => (1)Ebullience-Blizzard5. BLM... you figure it out yourself.

I'm the type of person that can't make a decision without some type of push. So far i have 100 Fishing, 24 Alc, 2 Wood, 10 Gold, 2 Leather, 12 Bonecraft, 60 Cooking, and 5 Synergy. Being gone so long i even forgot how crafting works, I remember each craft having a sub craft and it would be good to level the sub craft first so it could benefit the main craft. I don't mind farming mats for things, i have a lot of to play since i'm in the military, any advice would be awesome can post or PM me thanks!

I say level everything to 70 which is the new sub max if you want to cap something at 110. And then decide which one you like best. Fish yourself up a shapers shawl first if you're willing to wait that long to start.
