That fish is for gil im guessing? Would it be good to use old crafting guides, or any new guides available?

Edit: Some friends explained to me that fish seems like a real bitch, said it would be helpful to have someone hold a mob while i fish for it.

Most of the old guides should be fine, but don't blindly follow them. If a stage seems too expensive, it probably is - or you picked goldsmithing.

Kitron Macarons are a food that lowers breaks/increases skill rate, very handy for large jumps or expensive materials.

Shapers Shawl comes from Zaldon-ing Matsya, also increases skill rate.

Any craft to ~100 isn't bad, many crafts are terrible, >500m adventures to get from 100-110. Seconding get 70 in all/most and then read ahead to what they'll be like post-100.

Klaustra not needed actually (and its not that great anyway).

3man: WHM MNK +???: ???= BRD or SCH. MNK's DoT is enough to keep it's HP constant during shell; it will existe shell for a few seconds only every minute or so; do a victory smite at this point and its HP will drop by 5~10%. I killed it in 20 minute this way.

4 man: MNK MNK WHM + ???: ???= BRD or SCH. victory smite >victory smite > light takes easilly 10~15% HP every time its out of shell. its HP decreases rapidly in shell mode too. Only takes 3-4 minutes.

With the jobs you give, brd mnk mnk whm is the best and do not require 2H.

Or you could just BLM and/or SCH and chain nuke it to death before it gets the chance to glance at you crosswise.

I know you're pathologically in love with MNK, but it certainly is not the best way to go about that fight >.>

a trio of BLM BLM RDM can bot it dead (figuratively...). For your setup, for quick kills, I'd do SCH SCH SCH RDM. Powernuke when its in the shell (to force it out), then kite it around / recover MP when its out, then resume nuking. When I did it at 90 THF BLM RDM WHM, its hp did not "rapidly decrease out of shell", in fact we hit a stalemate. MAYBE the extra 9 levels helped, but I dont think 9 levels turns a stalemate into a "rapid decrease".

Whats the trick to tunga so the hate reset on slowga isnt a problem? have mage get hit by it and keep it on?

Yea iirc greater than 15 and you'll get hit by slowga but not breakga.

Slowga and Breakga have the same range, but Slowga is essentially unresistable from Tunga and Breakga is easy to resist with Barstonra and Barpetra.

I also had luck WSing him past the Chainspell points.

Stun -> WS or something similar around the Chainspell %s completely prevents it from happening

Does anyone have an Ideal SCH "Stun" set for Legion? LS is going to be attempting it within the month, and I want to have a better idea of what I should gear for.

Depends on how many SCH you use for the stun-order.

If you use 3 SCH and have Haste + Embrava, use more magic accuracy imo.

Thank you! Working on Apamaja II atm (damn weather roadblock) and all is attainable sans the Archon Ring, since we haven't began spamming ADL...yet.

Just one question, why the Rairin Obi? Wouldn't stacking INT/Skill/Magic Acc be better for the slot, or am I wooshing?

And we'd probably be there with another SCH and a mule SCH.

Re: Tunga. If you want, you can put on Earth Wyrm and with barstonra resisting slowga isn't a problem at all, though when he chain-casts it it can still get through rarely.

Fighting him on BLU makes him really easy though, since you can sudden lunge him forever while looking for weakness.

Archon ring is an error because the entire set is just a luls Dark Magic set I had for SCH (Old XML). Mediator's ring is good there. If the mule SCH isn't stunning, use more haste.

can you proc the attest mobs in beau? I dont think there is any way my alt can kill the whm/brd/blm between benedictions if you cant lock two hour and its tough getting people to go to dyna beau when its terrible for coins/gear/etc.
