Does skillup food work for defensive skills?
Anyone else ever noticed that if you Alacrity > Nuke (Thunder5 was what I was using) and then try to use the same nuke again, sometimes you'll get the "Unable to cast spells at this time" message as if it's still on cooldown even though it isnt? Just making sure i'm not paranoid before I go make a bug post on the official forums.
Use %a. This will make the letter a bind whenever it is pressed and you are not actively typing. So, if you have no chat line opened you can press a and it will do the bind, but once the chat line is started (by hitting spacebar, for example) the letter a works as previously intended. The % is the code for NoChat.
Atma of the Griffin's Claw is superior to Ultimate for brewing with any 2H weapon (including wildfire with staff). Assuming you have Farsha based on your avatar, Cloudsplitter may be worth looking into with atma of the lion/blinding horn.
Edit: Oops, sorry, I was just thinking about brewing in general. Stick to Cataclysm for Dragua as others have said.
Would that even work against Dragua? Brew or not, Earth based wyrm should be pretty resistant to Thunder.
Brew ws tend to be a bit accurate but against extreme resistance like that I've noticed still getting an above average resist rate. And it might even have and SDT to thunder as welll... like I've noticed brewing briaerus for some fun testing while all magic did alot less then it did to surrounding mobs thunder did especially less
I wouldn't doubt Dragua haven't SDT against Earth/Thunder, so stay away from that. Tbh, you should stick to Cataclysm and drag multiple together.
How many casts of break do I need to do to see discernable differences from pieces of gear in pvp? I've been running some tests and i was thinking it'd have to be near a thousand or so.
Apoc DRK question, when not subbing sam for x-y reason, is it worth to try to keep a 5hit build or too much compromise on stp gear?
That would kinda depend on the peices of gear. The bigger the true difference the less data points you'd need to be sure there is one. I'd suggest doing so many of each until either the difference between the 2 is outside the margin of error or until it appears they aren't different

If you do end-game, I honestly find Mantra more useful than Penance. Mobs just spam TP moves constantly either way.
If you don't do end-game and just do solo stuff, then invigorate is really nice with the augmented af2+2 gloves.
Whatever you do, be sure to XP the augments on AF2+2 gear that enhance whichever group 2's you choose. They are all worth it for their respective JA's.
