Haven't finished yet. Have done very, very small sample sizes for most individual pieces. I passed out on partner last night, but we got 491/498 landing. 4 were no effect from stona not going off, and 3 were resists. I have almost zero reason to believe at this point that you'll get a resist without traits or gear. Break also doesn't give diminishing returns in pvp, so it could be an anomaly. What I mean by that is you don't have to reset combat after each land, making for very fast testing.
Would need way more I think. Though, ballista may have a different enfeebling scale corresponding with the damage system. Also, NQ mobs don't build resistance like NMs.
I was talking about player resistances building, not nq mobs. If you cast paralyze for example, resistance will build until it won't land or it will wear off immediately. You have to reset by talking to NPC and getting full hp/mp/0tp. We were shooting for 1k of each trial, do we need more than that?
Should be fine with the current value. Never heard of the player resist building though. Just fyi, for future references: http://bphc.hrsa.gov/policiesregulat...lculating.html
Population Value = 5000
Expected Frequency of the Factor under Study = 10%
Worst Acceptable Frequency = 14% or 6%
P = Expected Frequency Value = 10%
D = (Expected Frequency - Worst Acceptable) = 14%-10%=4%, OR 10%-6%=4%
Z = 1.960 with Confidence Level of 95% (See Confidence Level values, page 3-2)
Formula: Sample Size = n / [1 + (n/population)]
In which n = Z * Z [P (1-P)/(D*D)]
First, calculate the value for "n".
N = Z * Z [P (1-P)/(D*D)]
N = 1.960 * 1.960 [0.10(1 - 0.10) / (0.04 * 0.04)
N = 1.960 * 1.960 [0.10(0.90) / (0.0016)
N = 1.960 * 1.960 [.09 / .0016]
N = 1.960 * 1.960 [56.25]
N = 1.960 * 110.25
N = 216.09
Next, Calculate the Sample Size. (S = Sample Size)
S = n / [1 + (n / population)
S = 216.09 / [1 + (216.09 / 5000)]
S = 216.09 / [1 +. 043218]
S = 216.09 / 1.043218
S = 207
Top 3 or 4 atmacites for war? for cor?
Thanks
For last stand usually coercion, valiant, and either slayer or Latitude
nvm found it.
Just came back from 7months break, along with an old buddy of mine.
I'm trying to clear all the VWNMs for him, the question is, will all the NMs be duo-able with 5 Void Clusters for each battle?
not all. Up to tier III definately. After that, you'll need a few more people.
Does gear that absorbs physical/magic dmg stack with atmas that do the same?
How many people does it take to kill Pandemonium Warden at 99, and what kind of strategy is involved? I've never fought the guy before myself so details would be appreciated.
12 would be plenty, 6 could probably do it.
Every form until 10th (last before 'real' PW) - just speed kill main, have a pld flash PW between forms and tank the lamps, they'll depop as each form dies.
10th form - kill lamps, take PW to 25-30%, fully buff up, PD > kill it.
6 Man would be something like.. PLD WAR WAR WAR SCH SMN, if have mules add additional heals, a brd, a cor.
12Man
PLD SMN COR THF SCH/BLM <Something else to stun the Cerb/Khiim/Hydra forms>
WAR WAR WAR WAR WHM BRD
Chariot forms are incredibly easy, our last run through didn't even get TP up to WS all of them (Given, with 6 DD)
Beastman forms all can use respective 2hrs, EES might kill one melee but it's early enough to get them up in time for final form. Fists hurts sure but use a DT set, Mijin is less common given it's used at lower HP typically, and each form is very fast.
Beast forms have access to the big AoE moves from ~50% down, they still hurt but aren't near wipes if unstunned.
Final form will evaporate pretty quickly, but anyone without PD will eat at least 1 flow, anything over 2 flows they'll probably die. Split up and let the PD'd party go to work.
Naturally, feel free to pick your favorite melee over WARs, any reasonable combo should be ok.
well you'll for sure need at least 1 PD for the final form. Beyond that IDK.
EDIT: Beaten-ish
Even with PD you have a high chance of dying unless you have some MDT, stoneskin or phalanx up as well. At a 90% reduction, each AF was still hitting me for 180-250 or so multiplied by 10 and I still died by like the 7th AF.
