Quik question.
Do the spreadsheets include set bonus from NI and VW gear, and what about other sets?
Quik question.
Do the spreadsheets include set bonus from NI and VW gear, and what about other sets?
You have to manually include them in the "set bonus" row. So, if you have 2 pieces of Phorcys gear, you put 2 in STR, VIT, and MND, etc.
If you're looking for an offhand dagger, this is probably way easier to get and about as powerful (if not moreso).
Yeah, actually Aluh would be mainhand and the STR Thokcha would be offhand. It's cheaper and about as good as 2x STR Thokchas. That's the combination I'd recommend for DNCs that aren't going to go for 99 Twashtar or Terpsi.
Do nightmare mobs count for Magian trials?
I've found a lot of conflicting info. Would like to get to the bottom of it.

MNK AF2+2 body aug, is it a macro piece or can it be left on? wiki nor the testing page offer any insight.
Related finding to the Punga Slops/etc (see meebles thread) as I was looking through the armor dat, I found a bunch of statless-namesless items with the crafting torque icon right beside the BC/LC/etc torques - so it's not that SE has entirely forgotten about the other crafts, they just haven't been fully added yet.
Best page/mob for chest farming in Gustav? Need something to do during LS event calls, figured I'm farm that magic skillup earring. Currently just murdering skeletons/pugil/wyverns in here.
I probably should have geared my BST for this area, would be faster killing than my BLU.
Whichever you can clear the fastest. I'd say page 3 seems quickest, based on mob levels and not much displacement needed. Once you've hit sufficient casket discovery, just start destroying the low level mobs.
but, I've so been told that Myriad Mystery Boxes is the same as the capped GoV prowess. If they stack or not, I dont know, but your time would probably be better served hunting down the earring when that kupower is active and save yourself the time getting to casket lvl 5, which can take a while.
I wouldn't be in here long enough to make real use of prowess (could really use a means of saving prowess for a single zone), is just a time killer.
Didn't think about casket discovery though, probably worth a damn now since it covers all regions, rather than nation-specific. It does include beastmen controlled also right? Dev note isn't clear on that.
It never had anything to do w nation control. The only unknown is if the new mystery boxes affect outlands too, which is suspected it does.
With only two periapts at the moment, what atmacites should I be using on MNK?
Depends on how much you want to level up the atmacites, the Bismarck one is probably the best among level 1 atmacites. If you're going to level them, I would say Pil and Ig-Alima are very solid choices, assuming you remember to make use of the fact that you're getting haste from them by dropping it in other slots where applicable.
Atm I use Aluh/STR for both THF and DNC if i play it. Just wanted and Empy or Relic for my THF as it's my only "DD" that doesn't have one. Maybe I'll just do Mandau. Was thinking of Ragnarok since I don't plan on ever taking my Ukon past 90. But meh, I'll continue the Twashtar for now, something to do when I am bored.
Can I solo Alexander Prime as 95 Apoc DRK? Need enhancing torque
Bonecrafting or Goldsmithing?
Which is easier to clear and then, which would realistically make more money in the long run?
A nearly impossible question to answer.
Bonecraft has some enormously profitable synths right now. For instance, Mafai sold his last Hexed Jacked -1 for 220m. However, getting the levels and materials is difficult. Only 29 Staghorn Coral have sold on Slyph's AH since June 28th.
Goldsmithing has always been profitable. It's just been a completely gil-hog getting to high levels. However, as an example, turning geodes into gems could be very profitable.
Bonecraft is fairly easy to get to 103, hard to get to 107, and nearly impossible to get to 110.
Goldsmithing is expensive to 100, more expensive to 107, and 7m/synth (slyph) to get to 110. Expect it to take 40 synths to get a single level. So 107 - 110 is about 800m gil on Slyph. And the Hexed item it makes at that point sucks.
As the market sits right now, I think a 110 bonecrafter would make more money than a 110 goldsmither. However, over time I expect SE to add recipes to skew that more in gold's favor. Goldsmithing has always been the homerun craft. Big failures, but big returns.
Supply of rare materials also somewhat depends on the price you are willing to pay. If you are willing to pay 500k-1m more per material than other servers the RMT are going to hop them to you. E. squamas went from .5 a day up to about 8-12 a day when I was paying 1.4m per compared to many other servers at 500-600k.
