I'll try throwing one together focused more on procing rather than straight zerging. I've been after that periapt for too long now. Time to get it done.

Can verify you do need to proc it at least once to get the KIs. First time our group went through we proc'd and everyone got them. Second time we didn't proc at all, and all the new people didn't get squat for KI's. Really isn't very hard to hit 2-3 red/white procs during the zerg.

Yeah this sounds right aswell, I know we did proc a few times when I got the win.

With the ra/ex body, both NQ and HQ headpiece gives 3mp/tic refresh. It's the body that that adds another tic as opposed to the crafted one, and not the headpiece.

Read that the adjustment to Embrava and Perfect Defense are getting pushed back. Have barely been playing the last couple of months, but, isn't the NNI adjustments going to be happening this month still? 2-11 floor jumps and we still get our full time Embrava?

We have conflicting translations. Official translation says we are getting the changes even though there's no embrava nerf (doesn't make sense) and Slycer's translation said that we wouldn't get the changes because there was no embrava nerf (makes sense). So I guess we don't really know.

I have an EU FFXI account and I have installed the ultimate edition available via torrent. I don't know if this is the NA version of FFXI or the EU version, or if it actually matters?

Also, if it does matter, can I use the updates in the all updates thread? or are they linked to a particular version?

Client does not matter at all

There are only slight differences in the client and they're to do with the local legal stuff. I think the NA client has something in POL like "online interactions regulated by ESRC" (can't remember exactly) whilst the EU client has something slightly different. I've played an NA account via an EU client until I transferred the account to the EU region when they gave us the chance via SE account.

Not sure about the former two, but I wouldn't count on a naked BLM soloing it.

I only ever solo it on SCH. Kaustra just melts him away.

He is soloable on BLM, but naked probably not. He has enough HP that even with meds you will run very close on the time limit.

It's worth noting that /sch30 now gives access to 30s Helices, makes a rdm or blm solo much easier. Bio2/poison2/drain/helix melts it.

Assuming OF is correct for now after going back to re-read the JP version. I updated my post to reflect this. I was doing mental translation and kind of making some logical assumptions to speed things up. I should have known better when dealing with SE, however.

NQ king is 0%, HQ king is not 100%, but pretty high.

I've gotten nothing but potions from Dreyruk before with TH9+ with bonus to spoils, so yeah, shit drops happen.
