Ok so im going to take a mule who has sch at 71 to fight fee after people have been saying you can SCH/RDM solo it. Is it just as simple as Gravity, use 2 hour pop Kaustra then kite it, while tossing nukes and reapply Kaustra when the dot effect wears off ?

Im new to sch and i want to make sure i have the right idea before i go and try

You don't even need to nuke it, really. Voidstorm, Klimaform, Grav him (I'd use Alacrity just for insurance), Strategems up, Kaustra, Strategems, Noctohelix, recast when stuff wears, watch him melt away. If you want, you can Embrava yourself in case he gets a hit in. Tossing nukes just makes it go faster.

Just opened a brown casket with two prouesse rings in it. Invited a friend to party to get the other, but he couldn't get it.

I always Embrava myself just to ensure a win, accidents do happen.

If he isn't dead after Kaustra and your two hour are gone. You can just rely on Noctohelix and drain if you don't want to switch your weather buff, or switch to hailstorm and through up Cryohelix and toss a nuke or two.

Anyway, how do people skill up these days? I heard that people pulll Melo-Melo and just wail on it with regen atmas. Is that still a thing?

It depends on your skill lvl. Check out the combat skill charts and find you're skill lvl. Then fight mobs that are a few lvls higher. This is how I do skillups and it has worked quite well for me

They buffed the poison aura on him a long long time ago, it doesn't really work anymore. The easiest way to skillup weapons from my experience, is to get the lowest base damage weapon(s) you can, and afk on castle zhavl (s) fortalices until 230-ish, than afk on (a) grauberg crabs with regen atmas to cap(make sure you don't get STR cruor buff). If you have war leveled, you can also use retaliation and pull a bunch of mandragoras/chigoes/whatever in abyssea. The latter is a much better option for slow 2h weapons.

I believe retaliation skillup has been nerfed at the same time counter skillup did.

Neither of them are nerfed. They still work if people are smart enough to use them.

If they ever fix enmity, Camouflage recast could matter since it reduces enmity associated with normal ranged attacks while its up. Recycle is nice in tandem with augmented Relic+2 head (+1 TP per r.atk per merit level on recycle procs). Everything else ranges from fairly useless to lolscavenge.

New install and using gamepad. Hitting the O button (Cancel/Reduce chat window size) is causing the game to stutter. How can I prevent this stuttering other than obviously not using the button?

Not sure if there has been testing on it but I remember awhile back SE said something to the effect that when combined with Decoy Shot it would make it so no emnity would go to the rng at all

Does the spell Death, get absorbed by shadows or does it go through them? Talking like City dynamis clears.

The Death spell cannot be blocked by "shadow images" such as those provided by Utsusemi or Blink, like most other offensive single-target magic can.
