    Yeah its total bullshit.

Depending on mob it can be stunned though.

You would have to know if it can load in the 2nd slot. The only way to determine that would be to get both the @1 drop and the ingot in the same fight. It seems unlikely, based on the item's rarity, that it can load in the 2nd slot. Therefore, it should be a rubicund drop.

It actually strips shadows, doesn't just go through them. Possibly as an easy way to make it ignore Blink also, which otherwise stops several things that ignore shadows (Eyes on Me, f'rex).

Bumping this to the next page instead of editing my last post.

How in the FUCK. does one solo the Windurst dynamis win?

The main boss spams death, the 2 plds spam doom. Can't be done? Tried it on bst, pet just feeds plds tp to doom. I assume the only possible way would be on dnc or pld and ignore the adds so you can stun death** from the statue?

Looking to solo-brew my glavoid scales, whats the best way to get pops for him solo? Are any of the KI mobs soloable by mnk/pld/thf/dnc or should I just amber farm the KI's?

For dynamis windurst boss I took a second BST and had an RDM with us, just kept spamming fight, meleeing with pets.
Keeping adds occupied is really all that is important.
Can't see solo going well because of death/doom.
    Two BSTs definitely helped.

I mean I get that taking a second bst would obviously make it a zero effort deal. Just don't feel like asking/shouting/blahblahing.

Just really annoyed it can't be done solo. 3 mobs all with access to instant death seems like overkill.

Maybe just maybe if I sic > heel face its back to the plds and stay the pet (since doom is glare) then work on the statue...

    Random Question Thread: Fuck it.

Sub nin on thief and youll be fine...you probably wont need shadows, but if its gets a couple lucky shots in after/before a claw cyclone, youd best play it safe.

I've killed everything in sky bar kirin as thf/dnc+sch, if you have /nin for shadows you'll be golden.

Think I'd prefer /dnc over /nin. But that's just me, I'd take Stun over shadows that get diaga/banishga'd most of the time.

Tbh byakko's the easiest sky god now by far for thf duo.

They generate a lot of tatters for augmenting other pieces in the set.

Unlikely they have any practical use - augmented shura is the only body with NTE but ehh to that. Hecatomb *might* be good in an extremely specific stp setup for a str based WS, but Tocis or Phorcys should be better, as are some other alternatives I'm sure. Stick with tattering them, imo.

Heh, I've had like 30 D tatters sitting in my bazaar for weeks. I don't think ANY of those pieces are useful, lol.

    Just another reason Woodworking sucks~

    Remember Cap is 110 now.

Synergy Stall > Apron > Hat > Hocho (cooking skill +3 Katana if you are willing to pay/farm it).

San d'Orian Tea > 70. Use Kitron Macaroon till 65 and just power through. It's like 1k/synth buying everything from npc.

Kitron Macaron to 75. Expensive ingredients, only available from AH or garden/farm, but you can make it back selling on AH.

Emperor Roe to 82. Emperor Fish available on AH because they drop from VW boxes. Also easily fishable in glacier with lu shangs/ebisu. Save the results for synth. Use Kitron Macaron til 87 to help with breaks.

Flint Caviar to 91. Super cheap, basically just costing you crystals. Use Kitron (see a pattern here?) until your base skill is 86. Save the results for next recipe.

Tonosoma Rice ball to 94. Pamtam Kelp is available from the npc in bibiki bay. Taru rice either grown or AH.

Dawn Mulsum to 97. Make them, then shout to sell them in Jeuno at half the AH price. You'll break even and they will sell out in seconds from bsts. Alternatively, stick them on a mule and sell them on AH over time for a profit.

Red Curry to 101. Turn them into buns. It SHOULD be break even/profit, even if you break some. No matter what, even at a slight loss, it's your cheapest recipe once your AH sales go through. Expensive on the front end obviously.

Himesame Rice ball to 107. For cooking, this is wicked expensive. Plus, all the cooks want Burdock. Enjoy over paying to skillup. NPC (QQ) the result.

Smoldering Salisbury Steak. Cerberus meat. Also Expensive. Also worthless. NPC the result and go back to making money off Red Curry Buns like everyone else.

For the upper levels, I think you can make Dragon Fruit au'laits and turn them in to a Dragon Fruit tank, which you then spam out and make again. Which is cheaper probably depends on the price of brass on your server.

True, I tried this, but harvesting the fruit is super annoying. Fort K(tab), all spread out, occasional aggro even at 99. In 8 hours I got 4 stacks of Dragon Fruit. IF the RMT are farming them for you and selling on AH, could be a viable option. They are 500k/stack on Slyph when I leveled cooking though and Burdock was actually cheaper. Plus my cooking mule didn't have the smithing or goldsmithing sub (I forget which) needed for the tanks.

Yeah, you only need to make 4 Dragon Fruit au'laits, though. Then you just make the tank -> use the tank x5 (gain an au'lait) -> repeat.
