I doubt there's any formal testing either way, but why not: is there a particular type of "healing magic" that has ever been shown to be better for skillups? I'll either be curing for 0 or curing a status ailment that isn't there, for reference.

I thought you had to remove the ailment for a skillup to occur? btw, with a proper spellcast and fast cast, I wound up skilling up much faster using cure 1 spam than using offensive cures.

If it's on an alliance member then it shouldve been the alliance filter... logically. when you turn off (others) every fucking move done by every person in the game by you gets shown.

The filters need to be more clear/fixed/altered.

Yeah, chat filters are unfortunate. I'm kind of holding out hope that they'll adjust those with the rest of the UI

If you're able to find the appropriate level npc, you can also try healing them for hp instead. You get quite a lot of skillups for healing an npc, though i'm not sure if you can get any if you heal them for 0.

It's also an excellent way to skill up enhancing magic, provided your buff has an effect. (no protect if its got protect IV, etc). Beseiged is a great place to find npcs like this, but there's probably other places you can get super skillup sessions too.

Appreciate the suggestions, but I'm talking about skillup that I'm not actually there for. Rather not rely on things that have duration and need reapplying(also just finished enhancing, so that benefit is gone)

Curing with 80% fast cast and some refresh is skilling me about as fast as barspells, which is good enough for me.

Forgive me if already asked but can anyone tell me the best Atmacite combo for VoidWatch?
This is for Relic SAM and Relic MNK respectively.

Also What If Any TP/WS sets are best in VW?

I know it is a pretty open ended question and any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

On Monk, I suspect Deluges would be a good/best? 3rd (in place of Persistence) unless you're using Discipline with Miser's.

That is the combo I currently have maxed out and been using for MNK and SAM. Didn't know if there was a better combo for each job.

An issue I overlooked is I don't have a seperate gear set for void watch. Does the haste from atmacites stack with gear or should I make adjustments? If I should could you offer suggestions? As in more STP ATT STR ETC. Thank you again for the help.

Just lost to shitty luck. I heard something about testimonies being good for 3 tries now? My testimony tore when I traded it into the bc, and maat is saying that it's worthless <_< Is there something I have to do to trigger retry, or should I just go and grab a new testimony?

I'm pretty sure Maat will only teleport you the one time, but you can use it to enter the BC three times. Rather stupid oversight, to be honest, but I never had a problem if I just used reraise and exited the BC and immediately tried again. The testimony should disappear from your inventory when it's no longer usable.

Atmacite haste counts toward the 25% gear cap.

This is what I get for being cheap and skipping out on reraise on this character. I figured that was the case, but Maat would just say the testimony was useless, instead of just saying he wont teleport me, so it confused me. Better to run out there than to farm another dumb thing. Thanks!

even with a new test after shit luck with sleep resists..
