Generally, if you're able to benefit from the attack and can't make full use of aftermath from Verethragna. Neo-Nyzul, Dynamis (not EP), probably new Salvage, some Meeble missions, etc.

Under what situations does Spharai99 out DPS Verethragna99?

spharai is 2-3% behind in impetus and 5% outside. so depends how much you get to use impetus. And if you have Ghorn 99.. spharai is better. Even on AM3 the difference is not enormous, due H2H aftermaths being crap-tier (verth still #1 but not by a lot).

Spharai doesn't require to assume full time AM1 either, and WS has less variance compared to VS. Also it's better without impetus and has better counter damage. This is why spharai should always win parses while verethragna is going to give you a lot of spike hate.

Any reason why when looking up items on bgwiki in google chrome, the image often will start to load, load maybe 50-60%, then stop and give the broken image icon instead?

Did they change the downloader in POL? I d/c'd while downloading and I came back and it picked up where it left off instead of starting all over again like it has for the past 10 years.

It's been this way for a long time. The "checking files" part pretty much always takes the same amount of time, but it always picks up where it left off with the downloading part.

They did change how the PS2 downloads its files at one point though, I think, since it was running out of space on the partition.




Is Ace's Mail still useful for anything? It looks nice for some STR-based WSs but since I already have Phorcys Korazin I have no use for that. Is it a good TP piece for any of the 3 jobs listed?

Ah okay, if you don't do check files and do the regular download where you try to log in, is it still the same?

Updates are always seperated into 3 stages (File checking, downloading, installing). The file checker from before you log in checks every single last file though, I think, whereas the one where you just log in looks at what version your game is before it decides which files it needs to check.

For content id/payment stuff, it's all managed via the SE ID area (site) now isn't it? I'm guessing there's no need to do it via the slow ass POL Viewer (Service and Support). Started checking files and forgot to check in there first lol

Everytime I open Multiboxer today I get a "WindowsFormsApplication1 has stopped working" message. It was working fine the other day and afaik my computer/ffxi hasn't had any updates since then. Any idea why and how I can make it work again?

For dynamis as thf/dnc can I box step in TH gear and melee in nomkapha/AF2+2 and get the desired TH? Also assuming perfect gear setups, how far ahead is mandau/??? over Aluh/coruscanti using exentrator with 2x march/haste against DC dyna mobs.

I would use dps sheets but I'm away from PC for a few days and apparently all my brain wants to do is fawn over this 10 year old game.

Maximum TH gear only needs to be applied during a single action, so that would work fine.

I've been awake for far too long to math for you, but I imagine it's a probably around a 7-9 percent difference.
