Anyone know what the "Graphics Stabilization" thing does yet?
Just finished augmenting my Warrior's Cuisses +2.
Would anyone happen to know whether or not they're a worn upon activation piece?
Are the 3 scenario last boss fights soloable at 90/95/99? (BST probably)
They were a minor ballache at 75 and not something you'd want to redo often, but now I was thinking it probably isn't a bitch to do.
Crystal can be done by pet jobs I think (would be hard to do as melee due to charm)
Moogle can be done by BLU or SAM with ease (blow it up with one skillchain)
Shantotto I'm not sure.
I duoed shantotto with a friend (BST x2), pretty much no gear outside of like af2 hands.
We both have full merits, Reward/CB recast -- Beast Healer/Aff.
Used slug, biscuits and had a few demuslims(sp) iirc
Not too sure about solo though.
All three are soloable by a BLU.
I dual boxed shantotto WAR + WHM.
Was a little hairy but I sucked at WAR at the time.
How easy is Lord Ruthven now? What jobs can solo it? Can a NIN and WHM duo it?
Am I crazy or do I remember reading somewhere that if the first hit of a WS misses, the ftp gets applied to next hit?
I cant seem to find it in a search so i'm probably wrong.
No way in hell, otherwise you wouldn't see people doing 100-damage Blade: His.
Only time that makes sense is on the merit weapon skills that transfer fTP, but then its not actually having the fTP being applied after the fact rather than that just being the way the WS works.
figured as much, wonder where i saw that then.
EDIT: now that I think about it, the post was in regard to mob blinking the first hit, does that make more sense?
EDIT EDIT: Found it!

Dunno if byrth ever followed up or posted any tests on this though.
Worst thing about him is his spikes. If you don't bar-spell they do like 80 damage a hit.
Aight, I need some info on Angra in dyna-beau. Finally got the mule access, now to get that win. I havent seen him in years.
Can it be solo'd (2boxed) with BST and (mage)? Or will the 4 dragons just faceroll the pet. Can they be eseal slept? Wiki testimonials don't instill confidence lol. So what's the lowest anyone's successfully beaten it with?
I've seen vids of a bst soloing but yeah crazy difficult though I think the pet doesn't despawn on pop now so easier. Shouldn't be too bad if you have the mage pop just have it run for dear life and have the pet get on the boss. Watch out for chain death though it can still rock you if you in range
Thanks for the scenario solo/duo answers!
Second one, I was investigating the porter moogle functionality. I read wiki's description (sorry, I had refer to the old wiki not BG wiki lol) -- I want to query how it works exactly:
By the looks of things, I purchase 14 slips (total 14000gil) in exchange for over 100+ inventory spaces? And then, each time I need to store armor with the NPC, I simply trade the slip + up to 7 pieces of the relevant gear, and it goes straight into a hammerspace? So the slips stay with me full time. Or does it get consumed each time I make a deposit? (So in a way, it's a money sink).
Although unlikely it'll be done often with OLD gear, I was concerned about retrieving items out of it. It seems like a load of menu options/prompts/confirmations?
Basically it. Also I think it gives you a huge warning that if you toss the slip you are SoL about the stuff that was on it. And yeah to get it back you just trade the slip back and go thru the menu to pick stuff out. It's pretty awesome since it's litterally hundreds of items... I mean all af(2,3), +1, +2 alone is 800 not counting accessories lol
