Second one, I was investigating the porter moogle functionality. I read wiki's description (sorry, I had refer to the old wiki not BG wiki lol) -- I want to query how it works exactly:

By the looks of things, I purchase 14 slips (total 14000gil) in exchange for over 100+ inventory spaces? And then, each time I need to store armor with the NPC, I simply trade the slip + up to 7 pieces of the relevant gear, and it goes straight into a hammerspace? So the slips stay with me full time. Or does it get consumed each time I make a deposit? (So in a way, it's a money sink).

Although unlikely it'll be done often with OLD gear, I was concerned about retrieving items out of it. It seems like a load of menu options/prompts/confirmations?

You keep the mog slip, so this is a one time payment. You give the moogle the slip + items when you wish to store items. When you wish to retrieve items, give the moogle the slip only and he'll grant the option to retrieve items.

Also I think it gives you a huge warning that if you toss the slip you are SoL about the stuff that was on it

I'm guessing that applies to armor/weapon under trials of magians? Since I have none I think I'll be safe. Or does it include augments too.

The menu to pick out the items, is it like the old-school set item storage? It lists XXXXX's set/gear and then in this case it opens up another menu with the item you have stored in this "set" and pick one out at a time? Old-school guy gives you all 5 items back as a set, and can't be stored individually, etc.

I don't think you can store stuff that is midtrial. You can stored augmented Relic+2 (They MUST be augmented) though. This menu shows every item individually.

I'm fairly certain at one point I stored something midtrial and it fucked up...

And no it just asks you if you want to take something out then has everything stored on it listed. But they are grouped by job. So you'll see all the rdm stuff next to each other and such

Ok that's great. I'm not bothered about augmented/high end gear, I'm only 75 =) -- I'll think about everything else once I'm comfortable, rather than rushing myself into all these "possibilities" and ending up doing nothing lol

Oh that iirc was showing that the "first" hit was actually applied last or something

So does it apply to missed hits as well? or just utsusemi'd hits?

This also means that I could DA metatron Torment, miss the first hit. only get 1 tp return, and still do normal metatron damage?

Not exactly. But like rdm af will be together. Sets will be grouped together like ares will be together then skadi or whatever. Not like there are lots of groups per slips

In the couple hundred Tier runs, I've never once seen an ABJ drop in a chamber, not ever. Probably better off shouting away the other shit that drops and doing odins. But if you're intent on trying the wings, again, ive never heard anyone ever say they got an abj from them either.

I'm pretty sure it can drop from any tier, not just Ortlinde, but its rare as fuck, which is why theres so little data on abjus from chambers.


on the topic though, in present day einherjar, how do people deal with chairman?

Sleep the adds and kill them, same as at 75. Some of them are casters so I'm not certain how well you could cleave them.

Regarding the hlegs, you're far far better off spamming Odin 1 then hoping for a drop from a lower tier chamber. The issue is that they are a fairly uncommon drop and share slots with all the other non-body abjurations.

That part is simple enough...except when chairman comes around, does hellsnap, stuns everyone and the blm's manaburn the shit out of the 6 people >.>
