You need to kill him before he starts casting or uses Blood Weapon. This is going to take considerable coordination while tri-box popping. You might consider popping and killing them one at a time.

Doing more then one at a time might be hard now without holding.

He absorbs dmg depending on spell/tp . So you won't be taking them all down at once it be 3 poped and one at a time my guess.

I think the last one I brewed on the took 45 seconds(dagger) so it can be done if you time everything well and don't heal.them to much


You also have that crappy immunity phase after bw moves that even a brew deals 0

Thanks guys. Sounds like the best bet is to just take it slow, at least at first, and kill them one pop per brew. If they're going fast I'll try doing two. I'd much rather waste the brews than waste the popsets.

Has anybody that plays on the Ps2 Version of the game had problem with the new update ? Specifically the game crashing in VW ?

I have. Framerate came crashing to a stop during a couple of qilin fights, and randomly in port jeuno. It never happened prior to the update.

If you are killing them one at a time, why even bother brewing? Especially if you have 3 accounts, you can do DD+whm+stubot so it is completely impossible to get fucked and die.

I bought an ultimate collection pack off squarestore NA to get my mule the 3 mini and 3 abyssea expansions. Digitil river emailed gave me 3 codes, a 20 digit serial number, a 16 digit unlock code and a 20 digit destrier beret code.

On SE account I went into "Select Service" > "Playonline / FFXI" > "Add code to existing PlayOnline service account. "

This brings up 5 x 4 boxes for the code, the serial number code is recognised but said it can't be added to any of the POL accounts, the unlock code just says invalid and I haven't tried the beret code as I would rather use that on another char.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have access to all standard WS (all jobs 99). No Wildfire, sadly. Is there another basic WS that would be better than AE? Maybe Cataclysm? I have a decently solid MNK.

I looked at it and I think I posted the combine comparative stats over in the update thread. Think it really came down to was 4/5 had alot more str/dex/agi but a little bit less ratt and alot less racc
