The only time it would make sense to do STR/AGI on Kannagi NIN is if you literally do nothing but play Abyssea, because you wouldn't be getting much, if anything, from extra DEX after all the buffs.

So I already have the OAT Greatsword done with my Dark Knight, but I continue to compulsively collect silver mirrors and riftsands and I have almost 150 of each again.

Are there any of the other OAT weapons that are worth doing, or should I try and re-sell the 150/150 to benefit another Drk?

OAT Polearm is very solid, but last I checked it was inferior to Herja's. Double check with someone else considering how long I've been away from the game.

Too low. I haven't done it enough to approximate, but I can tell you I've done about 6 or 7 of those runs, which equates to 18 or 21 crates, and I've seen exactly zero of the armor drops. Might be more reasonable now if you're shooting specifically for those items with the 20 hour timer, but it was super dumb with the 3 day timer.

I soloed a few Metal Chips that I got from farming other zones and never saw one of the items.

Speaking of which, monsters in Temenos II hit ridiculously hard. I was crit by an Aern for over 700 damage the other day. Upside of that zone is that the Euvhi is trivially easy to solo.

Never thought of doing this. Never actually entered Metal Chip zone, can you BST solo or duo the T2s?

If you have a mule, you can Sleepga the Euvhis in Temenos. The NM will resist (of course) and come kill the mage, but then you can pull it and the other Euvhis won't link. I guess when I say "solo" I meant "dualbox", but it really just makes the pull easier. I'm sure you could pet pull it just as easily, but he hits like a freaking truck. It would probably cost you a lot of Dawn Mulsums.

Yuck. Patentia Sash is 8M on my server now so I was wondering if it would be worth getting some LS buddies to farm some together, but it's sounding like a it's around a 5% drop rate. Guess I'll just have to put the cash down.

Apollyon would be easier, I think. I swear the monsters in Temenos hit harder and the Ghrah is super annoying. I have killed the Ghrah once solo (after the Euvhi) but it took almost all my remaining time in zone. Recently I've just been farming coins and trying to map the Aern jobs for the wiki.

You also don't have to clear them, just kill the boss. Sac pulling shit is totally possible and might let you skip basically all of the pre-monsters for Apollyon. ES Sleepga the Demons/Tauri, outside member pulls the boss. I guess that's worth noting. I haven't figured out whether or not these things have alliance hate because I've never taken the risk.

Were you using a token? Never heard of them deleting accounts, sure it wasn't a personal attack?

Only 1 person has my account info aside from me, and I know it's not him seeing how I was with him last night when the hacking happened. They deleted my accounts and everything, changed SE and PoL PW, and I wasn't using a token.

I had both my accounts hacked a few months back, and they stripped/deleted both accounts just like yours. It took about a week and a half to get the accounts verified, then ~3 weeks for the restoral; your mileage may vary, of course. Just make sure you have every last bit of pertinent information in front of you when you call, because they are not above telling you to piss off if you waste their time looking for it while on the phone.

Also, in the meantime? Reformat your hard drive, change every password you have (not just FFXI passwords), and buy a security token. If you get hacked/deleted a second time, you're at the mercy of SE whether you get your account back or not, and they aren't likely to take pity on you if you didn't think the security of your account was worth $10. And, whatever you do, do NOT tell them that somebody else had access to your account.

It's unfortunate. They deleted my main, and managed to hack my fishing mule too and delete him. My main is my account, but my fishing mule was a friend who quit, but luckily I know him IRL and can get all that info. What a waste of time.

Part of the verification process involves signing a form stating that you're the original owner of said account etc etc, and you have to notarize it before SE will accept it. I recommend convincing your friend to do so, because I don't know of any Notary that's going to play ball with identity fraud over your fishing mule.
