Yes, and it's not random - you get to pick which you want when you trade the item. You can choose all three if you have three of the item.

XP wise, this is a big reason why WAR is better simply because you can turtle up real hard and kill the mobs in smaller groups. Farming Chests or solo XP then BLU is great, but in terms of sheer ability to pull fast XP I don't think you can beat a WAR with the current mechanics and a little support.

Cosigned. Any other type of cleaving is going to be undesirable due to the static nature of everyone else's kill method. Cataclysm, Aeolian Edge, Whiskers, etc. are all going to do exactly the same amount of damage every time. WAR is going to be subject to pDIF and DA, creating much more disparity in WS damage.

I'd argue that you'd still be able to put BLU in the "desirable" category simply due to the fact that it doesn't need any support at all and still results in faster pulls overall. Not very hard to limit your pulls to 8 mobs at a time anyway. Dedicating 2+ spots is less efficient for something you could do with one.

CW bombs in vunkerl are my favorite camp. You can do 2-3 mini pulls and instantly kill them. Also caps out on exp extremely fast. Also magic aggro makes for extremely fast pulls.

Couple of my compatriots dug that one up and spread it around totally loaded with a keylogger with apparent links to some douchey account selling website, but I don't figure they'd just up and delete your account.

Another advantage blu has is it kills alot faster letting you go right back to pullling again and letting people open boxes sooner

Yup, hilarious thing is I did it on my laptop, to see if there was a virus because I don't use my laptop for ffxi, maybe once every 6 months. I downloaded it, and then a week later forgot I downloaded it and opened FFXI for the first time in months on my laptop. 24 hours later, yeah...

Also my antivirus expired 12 hours before I did that too
