I agree, just that if ya both play games it doesn't mean you have the exact same interests. You can always celebrate your differences in other areas. For us: I read, he doesn't (though I've gotten him into a few books which is pretty nice), and I love a lot of girlie shit: sewing, shopping, hello kitty everything, and so on. He's really big into technology (I use tech stuff, but fuck if I give a shit about having the best or X brand), and loves watching documentaries, n such. Yeah, demo's a way harder-corer gamer than I am; I prefer a fairly even mix across watching tv & knitting/spinning/sewing and vidya. He's also way into comics, I am not so much but enjoy them occasionally. But we enjoy co-op games like broderlands and diablo 3 etc. And I can beat him at Soul Calibur until he remembers the combinations. He's more into music than I am; I'm more into novels. But we appreciate the others' interests too. Means we have shit to talk about. It's good times. he also likes cooking main meals, I'm more into cooking breakfast & desserts. Works pretty well ;D

Anyway my tip for picking up gamer girls is to hang out on this forum. Worked for him. YMMV.

besides, people (guys too) who define themselves as "gamers" tend to be boring outside of that aspect of their lives. if you start dating someone on the sole basis that you both play xbax, it's like saying that a couple is dating because they both listen to radiohead or something
