ah warcry, i guess i shouldn't have merited that back in 07. my bad
I have to wonder.
WoW has claimed 10M+ subscribers, and big MMOs can usually pull a mil or two at launch. That's international numbers, but usually a big chunk is from the US.
What are the viewer/attendance numbers for NASCAR? Does "the MMOer vote" have a chance of being an actual thing.
Also, holy shit, what have I done.
I find it more amusing she's not level capped. Isn't leveling in WoW supposed to be stupid easy?
I think she doesn't even play anymore. A follow up article said her game of choice now a days is Angry birds.
Super supid easy nowadays.
"She quit WoW, will she quit for Maine?!"
She raided with pickups months after bleeding edge cleared content, do we want this kind of scrub in office?
She's 85, which was the cap until a few weeks ago.

I'd call bunk on MMOers having high political inattentiveness. General political inattentiveness is just high, and MMOers may not differ much from the baseline. So there's no reason to disregard it compared to any other moderately targeted demographic. And it's not JUST WoW, it just has the largest number publicly well known to pull from. You'd have to add part of Aion, SWTOR, TERA, RIFT, FFXI, EVE, GW2 (GW), EQ (EQ2), etc. etc. etc. They aren't as big as WoW, but everything together, they add up.
Hell, not even all NASCAR viewers are politically active, you'd have to cut it's numbers the same way. But the demographic itself had enough weight that it got braintime.
Welcome to your first real world political lesson. Pay good attention, because it will be on the practical exam.
Better now than down the line.
This is hilarious. Maybe she also likes horror flicks with lots of gore. Attack that next.
