HPV Vaccine

So I'm a male, almost 24, and I'm considering getting the HPV Vaccine, mainly because I sleep with strangers. It'll cost me $500 dollars and 3 visits to my family doctor over 6 months (which is quite inconvenient).

I'm wondering if there are any thoughts if it's worth it to have? As far as I can tell, it protects against genital warts and throat cancer (caused by HPV). Has anyone had it? Side effects? Anything else I should know?

Google. The side effects are the same of any vaccine, sluggish, sore, etc. Also protects against dick cancer.

I don't think the vaccine will help at all if you've already been exposed... as far as I know to be effective you need to be vaccinated before any sexual activity starts, which is why they recommend it for 10-12 year old girls (and boys now too? IDK).
