So we've seen Dexter go from ice-cold super killing machine to run-of-the-mill serial killer in the span of 7 seasons; funny how now that the mob plotline is over they had to fill the rest of the season with random crap, Hannah's dad and random arsonist ftw.
Hannah's dad bit was pretty fucking stupid, along with the arsonist guy bukkake'ing all over the bus passengers. Took the entire season for La Guerta's retarded self to put things together, looking forward to the end of this season.
I'm just glad the arsonist didn't turn out to be that arson cop thing (way too tired to think of what they were called >.> ). Even though that storyline is lame, at least it wasn't the obvious choice. And yeah, totally on the boat of LaGuerta needing to die.
If Laguerta dies wouldn't that just prove that Dexter is in fact the BHB though? Matthews may hate her but a case of that profile would be enough to rocket him back into the spotlight, even more since he would have solved it while not part of Miami Metro.
douchebag dad not being cut into pieces is gonna fuck dex somehow.
I'm just waiting for laguerta to put some coast guard on the spot that the BHB dumped at and catch dexter out there one nite.
Ill call my shot now. Season ends with coast guard/cops turning their lights on as dexter dumps a body into the ocean
As long as Hannah doesn't get axed I don't care what happens.
Damn somehow I managed to miss him changing his dumping ground.
They're still gonna release his moms killer as bait I believe. He's dumb to kill him, points the finger right at dex
Don't think LaGuerta is gonna die. Honestly, with the new epiphany that Dexter just had, and if it's true next season is last, they're setting up for something big. They could just drop all the evidence and let it go cold , but why would they do that if they're gonna end the series?
I honestly feel Dexter's gonna get caught, or someone is gonna kill him at the end and it'll be someone related to him. I've no evidence to back that up obviously but I don't think it'll be like 24 where Jack Bauer goes on the run unless they plan on making a Dexter movie at some point which would be silly.
What I can't tell is if Hannah thinks or knows Dexter killed her dad. She hated her dad but she clearly still loved him and finding out Dexter killed her dad I feel could bite him in the ass because that is just some cold-blooded shit to kill the father of the woman you are seeing even despite the circumstances (which is irrelevant anyway given the last scene). That's assuming she doesn't end up getting locked up by Deb though. The next two episode can go in so many directions.
If Dexter foregoes his code though, he's gonna die or he's gonna go to jail because his code is what kept him safe and when people discovered his secret, it allowed people to sympathize with what he did even if they felt uncomfortable with it. The whole fall from glory type deal.
Hannah going after Deb is a good plot device, interested to see where that goes.
Honestly, I'm glad the arsonist and Hannah's dad only lasted one episode. It's lame to throw together a big bad at the last second, but because neither is the real conflict for the end of the season, I am fine with it.
So either Hannah will go after Deb to save her ass and Dex has to decide who wants to live, or Hannah goes after Dex for killing her father and Deb saves Dex. Either way, Hannah ain't making it out alive. Fap while you can lads.
Do people really expect hannah to come out alive? I think its fairly certain she will die. Dexters flings never live past a season.
Dexter dying as a series finale is the only way to end it i personally believe. Nobody wants to see an ending where he goes to jail and you dont know what happens after, or seeing him ride off into the sunset because he lost his dark passenger, it'll all come around full tilt and he'll have to die. only true way to leave nobody hanging, unless they're just assholes like that.
Spoiler: show
Harrison and the kids are good enough reason to keep dexter alive and darkness free. I do agree going to prison is the most unlikely scenario, live free or die hard for him.
If they kill Rita, they have to kill Dexter.
Can't go hard at the halfway mark and go soft at the end
Dexter Dies, killed by deb in the library with the candle stick.
I'm a bit pissed about the no-code thing. Getting rid of his dark passenger was laid out understandable and a logical conclusion, although a bit forced. But the code? I really hope it's just a one-time slip because I don't want Dexter turn into an ordinary serial killer after seven seasons. There's no question there had to be done something but it's hard to swallow if he could just have left some fake evidence to frame him, like he was trying with that writer.
Wish they would've extended the Isaak arc another one or two episodes. It's pretty clear that we are now dealing with filler episodes to build up a huge cliffhanger at the finale.
Should have kept him alive and made Dexter his boyfriend. Isaak has been one of the few awesome baddies.
