I felt that in four, they locked all the good upgrades for weapons way late in the story. so you couldnt over upgrade early on if you wanted to. At least i think thats what they did. been so long idfk

The punishment rune seemed like a shitty version of Soul Eater. Honestly, no rune has been cooler or more powerful than the Soul Eater. The way the rune is powered is the most fucked up thing imaginable.

I would have loved to see them finally explore the giant holy land of Harmonia where Sasarai is from and his leader owns a True Rune, the circle I think. No clue what it's about but either way could have a lot of potential.

Also crazy how Suikoden V's storyline was all based off the events in Georg's Prime's character description in Suikoden II. Lol who needed a true rune with Georg around? That guy hit like a fucking truck, especially in V how he could multi hit/crit.

Eh.

It's an old game, but it's never had the attention level of, say, ff7. With these psn releases we have new people playing these games, which is a great thing and I wouldn't want to ruin the experience for them.

On the other hand, that post wasn't really a spoiler. Aegis dying is a spoiler because it's not really expected. That post was more along the lines of "sephiroth dies at the end of the game" (does he? I honestly don't remember, nor do I care.)

The extra information isn't directly in the main story of the game either, iirc. It's either hidden I'm the game somewhere, like a detective entry, or its just conjecture put together based on all the facts present, or something, idk.

Suikoden has so many characters, with so much lore, it's gonna be pretty hard to know what is and isn't a spoiler. As long as we don't get into a discussion about what Jeane is, I'm kool.
