The average voter either doesn't give a shit or isn't bright enough to get a clue. Not to mention American politics on the whole is dominated by a sort of "Ohhhh shiny!" mentality. It's terribly embarrassing.

Corporations are people my friend. Welcome to the other benefit of Citizen's United. Their freedom of speech isn't just limited to campaign contributions, they can aggressively "project" about what politics would do to their company.

Well, I think it was like a scapegoat. His business is timeshares which I can imagine is not doing well at all in this economy. And I know of two of his on the 192 strip, and the strip has gotten rather trashy looking lately. More than likely his business is hurting and wanted to have someone to blame if he does layoffs.

While this is certainly possible... Isn't this the guy trying to build a castle to live in? Like literally a castle. I'm sorry if I feel no sympathy for people like this.
