K-Project

Summary: Set in a world where history has taken a slightly different course from the one we're familiar with, K follows the story of a young boy whose life is caught in a psychic war between seven kings.
Ashinaka High School is known for its unique setting: the entire campus is built on an island. Yashiro Isana, aka Shiro, is having lunch with a cat on one of the school rooftops. After his lunch break, Shiro goes on an errand for his classmate Kukuri to prepare for their upcoming school festival, only to be chased by some intimidating-looking men.

Dat animation.
I don't even care if the plot turns out to be crap, still gonna watch it for the animation.
Until I get sick of it, anyway.
-
For reals. As an animation student, I am completely blown away by its quality and careful details. Like all KyoAni shows, plot takes a backseat while the animations are the main focus of enjoyment.
-
The Fucking Voice of Actually
The plot is ok so far though, this kind of thing has been done a lot worse in the past. If some serious progress is made in ep3, it should be fine.
The badassery of the characters is kind of what I was hoping for from Arcana Famiglia. Once again I get what I wanted, just from a completely different show.

K-Project
Animation: 5/10
Plot: Gave me AIDS
-
Mithra Ero-Sensei
Sex Manthra
Its all about... the catgirl awww yeah
-
Been Here Longer Than you
This is the most beautiful anime, ever...
-
really not a big fan of those focus on skateboarding camera angles, which made worse by the R&B bgm
I'll give it the 3 episode trial, but I got a feeling this has guilty crown written all over it.
-
I've already written it off. Having an entire episode of a naked cat girl running around with the photoshop lensflare effect on 11 killed it for me.
-
So the animation continues to be good, but I find myself not caring at all about the story or the characters apart from Kuro and Shiro, and that's only because they've had the most interesting/random scenes that wake me up.
They've set up the cat girl perfectly to be the stupid fan-service part of this anime, not looking forward to this.
-
Well the plot is now giving me AIDS as well.
I think I might drop this after 1 more episode if it doesn't pull something good out of its ass by then.
-
Weaboo of the House of Weave
Bump.
Still don't know shit but there was a really good fight in this episode.
Mamoru Miyano is dusting off his psychopath voice. I don't think he's used it since Light Yagami. I am pleased.

So, this show is getting more interesting as time goes on. Neko still makes me cringe every time she speaks, but at least the rest of the characters are fun to watch.
