Dear god Romney was lying hard, thankfully Obama did eventually mention the private sector solution that Romney wanted for the auto industry and he still flat out denied it and said "people can look it up". If they look it up they'll see that's exactly what you proposed dude.

Romney pretty much avoided what I thought would be a disaster for him because he agreed with literally every major foreign policy move that Obama's administration has done. Although in the end he let Obama win, looking good on several points by playing passive, twice going with the "attacking me is an agenda etc etc" despite attacking Obama every chance he could when it wouldn't look bad on him(so majority of the Foreign Policy points he avoided). Yes Romney, we have fewer ships and planes than WW1+2 era military. We also have highly enhanced ships and aircraft and missile technology that far surpasses what we had back then that allows us to blow things up without having to be near it with good accuracy, we don't need as many anymore. Quality not quantity.

Romney definitely lost the debate but unless the ratings for this were surprisingly high it'll come out more of a boost for Obama and a minuscule movement down for Romney, if any movement at all.

I'm wondering why Obama didn't close with "This man has been in business for 25 years, and hasn't given us any concrete info on how he'll close the budget, create jobs, X/Y/Z." Aside from Mitt flipping positions this is 1 big gripe I have with him. He constantly harps about his business experience and how successful he was(he is pretty successful himself, has a ton of money), he hasn't been able to give a CONCRETE answer to any of these questions, just I'll do it later or "I was a businessman, I'll balance the budget". If he went against Jimmy Carter's high unemployment rate with this type of strategy Jimmy might have actually won. Obama is going on about raising taxes against the rich, raising taxes being normally a very taboo subject in campaigning, and he's not getting destroyed in polls.

If a businessman of 25 years, with private equity experience that destroyed several jobs and companies(but I guess creating jobs works in reverse of that so he's an expert) won't tell you how he's gonna balance the budget, there's a problem.
