I agree. I was (and still am) friends with many black people while in high school and got along with that kind of crowd all my life. I don't dress, act, speak, write, dance or anything in any way like they do. I identify myself much differently, yet I get along with them just fine. I've always wondered what it was about our relationship that just seemed to click, maybe they don't see me as threatening in any way? (I'm also a scrawny white guy). It's just an interesting relationship either way.
