I made this a long time ago when talking about the expansions of FFXI and how things had changed, not sure how accurate it is now compared to today's game since I quit sometime during WoTG. This at least falls in line with how fun I thought things were back in the day, not sure how many would agree.


True facts though, Ixion and Sandworm were the least fun thing in the game, I hated camping those fucking things.

Edit: Also, you left off the part where you first reach "high level" (like 45, lol) and can stroll through the newbie areas like a baws killing Ghouls, Wights, and Bogys and making all the newbs gasp in amazement. Highlight of the whole fucking game right there.

The best part about sandworm was camping it at 3 am, then kiting for 15 hours straight, while 50 people are trying to mpk you, and spamming shit on it to claim if it goes unclaimed for even a second, to get it to spawn at a better time.
