Well if you haven't watched the new trailer for it (released yesterday), it's some nice eye candy, to say the least.

If FFXIV stole Tera's engine, they'd be in business. Otherwise:

Last I heard, TERAble wasnt doing too well.
Saw this on Yahoo... Hnnnnnnnnnng...
Spoiler: show
edit: he ended up getting 2000 viewers.
Every game is guilty of stealing from something, that's for sure.
worldwipe via dragon has been around for ages upon ages, square has done it before in the 16bit era if Im not mistaken. its also in the bible, so yeah
also the TERA engine is the unreal 3 engine, which powers a lot of games these days. 14 always looked good but ran like utter shit, it made me wonder why they let their paid for license on the engine lapse (last remnant used the unreal 3 engine, when they licensed it for that game they paid for 2 of them). my assumption is that tanaka could have used it but didnt want to because "its too mainstream" which was his reason for not including normal things like an in game mailing system and auction house
They probably only licensed the engine until they had Crystal Tools up and running, which was pretty much in development alongside FFXIII.
edit, wrong publisher for Lost Odyssey
best part is he is laughing at the end lmao
