Nice! Did you find a source? Those were just things I ran across on tumblr

Next to last looks like the cloister of Gloucester cathedral. Last looks like Duomo di Milano (Milan cathedral).

Others you may like: Cathédral d'Amiens, Hall of the Two Sisters (Alhambra at Granada), Chartres Cathedral, Hagia Sophia.

[Caiyuo]

They were just google searches. There was a wallpaper site with some interesting things as well. Was going to upload some of my own personal stuff but it isn't dark enough - and I don't have the time to photoshop in the sublime.

Searched "Gothic Architecture HD"

Thank you! Annnnd

You're fucking awesome. I really appreciate the samples, I'll be up all night with this.

Is that seriously what the fuck that was? I remember playing that as a kid and wondering why the fuck these dudes are naked.

Late, but yes. Apparently Maxis had some pretty hardcore anti-gay policies and a vibe going on, so Servin put the Easter Egg in the game as sort of his way of staging a protest. Kinda neat.

I wonder if that makes my SimCopter disc worth more money!?!?!

I thought he was fired/about to be fired so he included it out of spite.

[BaneTheBrawler]

I think it's safe to say he included it out of spite in either case.

Edit: Also, is it bad that the only reason I recognize the name Alhambra is because it's a World Wonder in Civ V, and an awesome one at that?

Looks like 40% of people haven't played it.

Sounds like Mr. Peckham is a hater... I wonder what types of games he appreciates.

aaaand thread over.

[BaneTheBrawler]

Someone actually made that joke in the thread about it, or the grocery store news thread. I don't recall which.

Supernova remnant W44 is the focus of this new image created by combining data from the European Space Agency's Herschel and XMM-Newton space observatories. W44 is the vast purple sphere that dominates the left hand side of this image, and measures about 100 light-years across. XMM-Newton data reveal that the remnant is filled with X-ray emission from extremely hot gas.
