So for some reason gif's don't always work right, so i have to switch tabs and then switch back for them to start animating. I can usually tell when something is a stalled gif because it will have part of one frame, part of another. This particular gif, however, did not. It appeared as a perfectly normal space-is-awesome image. So when I tabbed out and back to get the surrounding gifs to work, I was caught completely off guard and burst out laughing at this ridiculous gif. Thanks.

I thought it was just me and my chrome plugin. Can we please get a team of crack code monkeys to figure out what the deal is. I kind of get the same issue on FFXIAH but at least when I click on them they start the animation process.

Whale thing is exaggerated as hell; the consensus is that it's a (unknown sex) humpback with damaged/malformed vocal organs. They can hear far above and below their own vocal range, like every other species. The entire story is built up around the fact that there's a whale with a weird call. That's it. Everything else is speculation, with "speculation" being a very nice way of saying "bullshit people made up on tvtropes/tearjerker".

If you don't watch the video, the eagle drops the kid about 5 feet over from about 2 feet up. Kid looks fine, but scared as hell.
