Sure but lots of people dumping their 2000 cards for scraps because the new shit is so much better. If you could find a deep discount on them they're still completely fine cards for the next few years.

I'm not dropping bills on a used 20 series when I can buy a 30 series for probably the extra $100-200. The cards are a great value as is, no reason to settle for the 20s. Stock is the only issue here, and now that I got the console I'm kinda fine just waiting until normal retail channels has stock on em.

They're probably focusing entirely on the console versions anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if those were the best versions to play at launch.

Some people on reddit who got the game early (Best Buy has been sending people the CE already) said the XsX is at 60 fps which if that's the case I'll definitely play it that way for now, and make my way to the PC version when a solid modding scene has developed.

No lie, i have friends who settled for a 2080 because they still have 970 or 980s, hell one friend still had a 680, he settled for a 2080Ti second-hand on the cheap.

With that said, i may not play it until my 5900X Zen3 arrives and i upgrade the ram, but i’m gonna be playing this on my HDMI 2.1 4K120Hz tv

Even last gen I would say they'll barely be above functional and be lucky to get 30-45 FPS on a PS4Pro/XBoneX. CDP has always been a PC developer first.

2080tis aren't a great a deal on eBay and the like, lot of buy nows for $700-800ish, non-TIs are only one or two hundred cheaper. bad job given the difference in performance.

My understanding with Nvidia is that Samsung has been shitting the bed on their end for fabbing enough chips which is leading to the massive shortage of supply (ok well and them supposedly selling $175 million worth of cards to miners thru back channels).

Nintendo on the other hand is just being weird and Japanese about it, at least with amiibos

I absolutely couldn’t stand the Witcher games on console, but had a blast once I modded the shit out of them. I might have to go this route and eventually make the change once I can do it justice and have updated my pc.
