Now in fairness this is pre-patch and base PS4 version, apparently, but man, I'd be pissed.

I'd be pissed if I had to play this game on PS4 too
Spoiler: show
First bug I got is after I restarted the game. Tried to pull out my second weapon, a shotgun, it came "out" but was invisible. And then it promptly disappeared from my equipped guns and went into inventory.
Edit: Think it was related to the heavy weapon I was carrying that I had picked up before restarting the game
I mean wasn't the game delayed this last time because of performance on the base PS4/Xbox One?
It probably still looks like shit but would probably at least have a stable-ish frame rate after being patched.
Seems ok on my laptop (2080 Max-Q, which is around a 2060 desktop). Ultra settings (no ray tracing) with DLSS on and I'm getting fps in the 70-90 range
Krandor and some other PC nerds talked me into giving er a go. Day 1 patch apparently did some good work and PC version is fully functional if rocking some random ass bugs (and raytracing murders any card sub-3000). game seems an unplayable disaster on last gen consoles tho feel for the bros. will report back with impressions.
Yup, played for 3ish hours on PC. Haven't had any issues. Calling it a night for today, gotta go finish Rhythm of War
I'm getting 40-60 fps on a 5700XT with most things high or ultra at 1440p. Not the best but certainly playable with freesync. Hopefully my 3080 gets here soon, haven't had any bugs so far but not sure how far I wanna dive in without the upgrade, I can't even imagine how insane it looks with raytracing given how good it looks already. Also about 3 hours in haven't had any noticeable bugs but it's early yet.
I have a 2070 Super, and while things were going very smooth in the opening on High/Ultra, as soon as I got into the city my GPU said NOPE. I had to reduce a few things but it still looks really nice. I'll have to upgrade to a 3080 at some point, but that's when I can find one :\
On PC, 2 bugs in the hacking tutorial, 1 visual bug where I see trees through walls, and then another bug in the first mission where it says I didn't do a task I did.
Also there is a nvidia driver update.
Make sure you turned on DLSS, it gets turned off by default if you're starting from a non ray tracing preset
Oh snap I forgot about the new drivers
My friend is complaining about it on PS5. Does anyone know if the "next-gen" patch for console players is already available or coming later on?
I mean not even Sony and Microsoft themselves were really ready for the new consoles given how thin the launch title offerings are.
Almost like there was some kind of giant global pandemic or something that fucked up everyone's schedule. No that can't be it
Because they weren't ready for any launch. That's why they delayed it. Multiple times. None of this is a surprise. None of it.
The game still ain't ready, but that won't stop the bean counters from forcing it into as deep into Q4 as they could to catch that holiday money.
Release now, fix later.
Rock solid stability wise on PC for me, seems to run and play just fine. Have to use DLSS to get decent FPS with Raytracing/Ultra at 2K... but I did some screenshot comparisons and my eyes couldnt tell the difference (I usually like disabling DLSS on principle, but meh).
That said, I experienced the following bugs just playing through the intro:
- Weapons unequipping themselves for reasons I have yet to identify. Had to re-equip a blank slot multiple times
- Equipping a hat and looking in a mirror makes me bald
- Item stats changing when removed from stash. Initially noticed with the Witcher cosmetics you get from GOG, which are "rare" items. They showed in my stash with garbage stats. Red arrows, 2 armor, no mods, etc. So I left them there thinking they were just cool looking cosmetics. Once I realized you could dismantle items I went back to see if they gave rare materials. Now they showed with 15 armor and secondary mods. Also noticed with a rare katana, which was 0.0 DPS until I took it out.
- I ran over some garbage bags and died instantly. It was during an event so I thought I just wasn't paying attention to something, so I reloaded. Nothing was there and in retrospect, I am fairly sure the death was because they made me clip into the ground.
- Shit like this a dozen times (no spoilers in video)
All very minor.. but all very noticeable.
