This is probably a pretty stupid question but is anyone playing on PC with a PS3 controller?

ps4, ps5 didn't work for me.
My controller works but I feel like I'm missing a button
Like
The "open inventory/equipment" button or whatever
But when I google for keyboard controls I don't see that listed either so like
I dunno
I've played like 2 hours but
On a controller start opens the menu, holding it opens the map.
Afaik there is no direct button or key press to go straight to your inventory
Save Bloat has always been a thing in like every game that has ever existed. If I had to wager a guess it's not directly related to crafting since CDPR never actually said it in their reply, the person was probably using the mass crafting materials from vending machine trick and had thousands upon thousands of crafting mats.
I've been crafting a lot and my save is still sub 4 MB
Also yes. Especially after War of the Chosen, X-Com 2 is probably the best strategy games I have ever played. Just absolutely top tier in every capacity
I remember learning about the QA job as kid and wanting to do it when I grew up. Then I learned what a thankless job it is in video games and gave up on working in the industry entirely.

1.05 patch live on consoles

They also patched Pc for AMD CPU’s. If you had a lower core CPU, you should see expected performance now. As suspected, larger core CPU’s were never impacted by changing any configuration and were left unchanged. So those that saw performance increases must be on older / weaker CPUs.
The memory pool thing is weird, the game was absolutely running better for me after I fucked with it.
The PC patch is incoming soon at some point. It's not there yet.
I feel kind of bad for the devs as someone who makes software. I am certain they all knew about these bugs / insufficient testing and were forced to release anyway.
Worst past is that large parts of it look great but now the lol of the unfinished bits and sky high expectations turned the game into a joke.
This is a failure of marketing and leadership, but the game might not be bad in a few months.
On the bright side,it's crashed and burned so badly to this point that it's hard to imagine large changes not coming for cdpr. Maybe the next project really won't have crunch, be properly time managed, etc.
The industry at large is pissed that they can't put everything off to a day 1 patch in order to get cert tho lmao

So how is the Steam version still mostly positive?
Didn't they implement some sort of anti-review bombing measures a while back? Think BL3 was one such case, idk if it applies here or not.
Basically yes.
The game runs fine on PC (hardware requirements on the higher side, but the graphics are worth it), and is pretty stable overall. Buggy yeah, but a good experience.
Also gotta say outside of driving using a controller is awful in this game unless you're using a smart weapon, so kb/m is also a huge advantage for the PC version.
I have a shitty card and it still runs fine and has been a great experience overall.
It's fine on older cards too.
I'm having no real problem with a laptop 2080, and one my co-workers says hes been playing it fine on a 1070 on low/med
