Actually, Johnson was a curious candidate. He's the first libertarian candidate I've ever heard espouse the occasional, liberal policy. It was sort of compelling.

I'd still never vote for him, as libertarianism is still batshit, but it was way more refreshing than the Ron Paul "STATES RIGHTS!" argument of no federal government whatsoever.
