Byrth made a post on the OF recently pointing out the fault in logic where SE said it would create an unintended cycle if crystal petrifacts were allowed to be turned in to voidstones, but trading the petrifacts for cruor is just an indirect link, as cruor can be converted to gil, which can then purchase voiddust for voidstones.

We have ourselves a scapegoat. BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!!

But those Voidwatch battles that you used to get only 22,000 cruor from will now yield like... 22,100 or 22,200... or even 22,300 cruor O__O!!! It'll cut the remaining Voidwatch battles until we can upgrade our atmacites again by like... 0.1!

Gilsellers haven't been trying to get around the filter anymore, at least on Quetz, but I believe you Dan.

Thank heaven I rarely used blinkers; I saved my cru more for brewing things for friends and atmacites (tho need to hop to that more)

Thank god I spent most of my crour into money to buy a leech spot for my sch yesterday, but this does indeed suck since I relied heavily on blinkers to help pay for working on crafting, to which i'm now gonna be forced to looking for alternative means now to fund crafting without dipping into my relic weapon farming fund >.>.

unfortunately the nerf to cruor won't bring the price of gil up, economy will still be shit.

every half-rmting player has been sitting of hundreds of millions of gil waiting for this to happen so it will actually have the opposite effect.

It's possible that this was tied together with a mass banning of RMT accounts in attempt to prevent such a problem, but I think that's giving them a bit too much credit. It's also possible that the people using multiple accounts with bots set up to farm cruor were more responsible for this than RMT were. I'm sure it's a combination of factors that led to this, but the primary one was probably that the conversion should never have been possible to begin with.

I foresee lots of currency sitting in bazaars that doesn't get pushed, I foresee lots of marrows sitting in bazaars and crashing in price, I wonder what will happen to the price of matysa's or w/e they are.

We can not say everything is going to crash LOL. if thats true start stocking up your gil.

You also have to know, many of us have millions of gil we are sitting on doing nothing. and crafter's have their own system to make gil. regardless of what happens gil just became worth more. I am far from rich but I have 10 million I just can not find a use for. All good gear is rare/ex so gil is worthless in that matter. When I get /tells that say "GIL 5.99!!!" I really ask myself who buys this? outside spending $600 of the bat to flat out buy a relic where is this gil going?

This coming from a bst who spends maybe a 500k~700k on pet/pet food. I do not do it but i fully understand why people sell gil. really whats the use for it lol?
