as i mentioned in my original post, explain it to me like i'm a six year old. i don't even know what system shared memory or vram is or for that matter what overclocking is... hell all i know about it is that it breaches warranty for some reason. that's also why i left out any details of what i already had found out some research... obviously since none of it worked, all of it was wrong, i didn't really need someone else telling me that. no point in rehashing what i've tried, i figured i'd start with a blank slate.

what i will do is try to get this thread back on track. now that a few specifics have been brought up i'll specify questions about those.
first of all what is vram and how do i access it to mess around with it? i saw a bunch of options in my BIOS about memory allocation, but there wasn't really any options for me to click and noodle around with, graphics or no. as near as i can tell any memory settings seem to be pretty much hardwired in.
