If it has any basis in reality (who knows) then it is probably ghost mode. They probably just said Darth Vader because they figured it would be more recognizable than Anakin Skywalker.
Ugh that just means more glowing Hayden.
It can't be worse than what Ep1-3 did to Vader.
If it's not Force Ghost Anakin, I'm out.
If anything it'll be Force Ghost Vader, not Anakin. He's the icon that they want to bring back.

game, set, matchBeaks here...
And we've got confirmation from The Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit: Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg are officially signed to write and produce installments of the new STAR WARS trilogy. It's not yet known which episodes they will write, or which they'll produce, but they're definitely on board. So there you go. Kasdan is back in the STAR WARS fold!
Here's what I wrote before the news was official...
While we're waiting for word on who will direct STAR WARS EPISODE VII, Deadline's Mike Fleming Jr. has an interesting scoop regarding who's in the running to write the subsequent episodes for Disney and Lucasfilm.
Though neither writer is signed yet, Fleming has learned that Disney is talking to Simon Kinberg and, get this, Lawrence Kasdan. Now, it's been a while since Kasdan wrote a genuinely good movie (and nine years since he gave us the gift of DREAMCATCHER), but who cares? If the screenwriter of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK is available and willing to return to the STAR WARS universe, you let him take a crack, end of discussion. I've been pretty cool on the idea of the new installments thus far, but I'm a big enough sap to get a little misty at the thought of Kasdan writing a new STAR WARS movie.
Kinberg is a little less exciting, but he's done some solid work here and there. If they ultimately go with him, fine. But now that we know he's been approached, you've just got to give Kasdan a shot. What do you guys think?
Looks like I'm not the only one with this idea:

So how about that Matthew Vaughn guy?
http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/11/2...medium=twitterThere's been a whirlwind of Star Wars news and rumors over the past month, I don't post most of the stuff I come across because it's kind of ridiculous. But, Matthew Vaughn's name has popped back up as a possible director for Star Wars: Episode VII. Earlier this month the rumor hit the net that the X-Men: First Class director was in talks to direct the film, then his friend and collaborator Mark Millar came out and said that Vaughn was working on the adaptation of the comic book, The Secret Service, putting doubt in our heads. Now according @DIYTV Vaughn might actually be attached to direct the movie!
While in London covering the Green Carpet event for the awesome film Seven Psychopaths, they talked to actor Jason Flemyng, a close friend of Vaughns, who let slip that Vaughn will be working on Star Wars.
They followed-up that tweet with a little correction...We chatted to the lovely Jason Flemyng who pretty much let slip that Matthew Vaughn will be on Star Wars IV duties oops!
If you take these tweets at face value it looks like Vaughn will be directing the movie. But there's still so many variables that could cancel this all out. Flemyng, might not have the full details, and the source could have heard him wrong. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough what is really going on with Vaughn and Disney, but if he does end up directing the movie that would be pretty damn awesome! We mentioned earlier about Matthew Vaughn's involvement in Star Wars IV When we of course meant Star Wars VII. We'll blame the cold.
As of right now The studio has three different writers working on scripts for the future Star Wars movies, and I imagine they will bring on different directors for each one as well.
