Carrie Fisher has always just kind of dodged questions regarding her potential return as Princess Leia in J.J Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII. But this time when she was asked about returning to the franchise by Palm Beach Illustrated, she gave a very clear answer...'

Q: Disney is going to continue the Star Wars saga, producing movies set to hit theaters starting in 2015. Can you confirm whether you’ll reprise the role of Princess Leia?

A: Yes.

So there it is! Fisher has officially confirmed that she will be back as Princess Leia in the exciting new Star Wars film! Which basically tells us that Mark Hammill and Harrison Ford will be back as well. She does have some fun with it saying what Leia would be like today,

Elderly. She’s in an intergalactic old folks’ home [laughs]. I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle.

She's been having problems with(Edit) being bipolar again, too. Week or so back, I remember seeing a story of her in a bad way after doing a cruise line show. Hopefully, it's something she can shake in time for the new movies.

'Star Wars' creator George Lucas reveals Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will return for the new installment.

Star Wars creator George Lucas says the films' original megastars -- Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher -- "have already signed" on to return to the screen for Star Wars: Episode VII.
Lucas told Bloomberg Businessweek that the signings came even before Disney bought LucasFilm in December.
"We had already signed Mark, Carrie and Harrison -- or we were pretty much in the final stages of negotiation. So I called them to say, 'Look, this is what's going on,'" Lucas said in the interview before realizing that he might be spoiling a big Disney announcement.
"Maybe I'm not supposed to say that," he added. "I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them."
Ford starred as Han Solo, Fisher as Princess Leia and Hamill as Luke Skywalker in the first three Star Wars films, beginning with 1977's Star Wars and going until Return of the Jedi in 1983.
To keep some semblance of suspense about the return for the new film due out in 2015, Lucas then added: "I won't say whether negotiations were successful or not."
A Disney representative had no comment on the report.
One thing's definitely clear: Director J.J. Abrams has been announced as director of the seventh live-action Star Wars film.

Clone Wars Cartoon Canceled, Detours put on Hold

Detours was conceived and produced before we decided to move forward with the new Star Wars trilogy, and in the wake of that decision, Lucasfilm has reconsidered whether launching an animated comedy prior to the launch of Episode VII makes sense. As a result, we've decided to postpone the release of Detours until a later date.

So I'm guessing Disney didn't want the show on Nickelodeon and just canceling the show was a lot simpler than trying to get the rights to it to show it exclusively on a Disney channel.

I'm further confused by this response....either being wooshed or you're thinking of someone else. What does Seth Green have to do with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, other than when he did the Robot Chicken version of it, and also was part of the Family Guy version of it?

according to wiki he has nothing to do with this show except for a voice of a one time character?
and I'd say the majority of the projects he's in are more successful than not.
