The Vampire Diaries Season 4

I like that the show actually kills off people. Then again, I don't remember them killing off too many characters that I liked aside from the cute vampire who's on Walking Dead now.

The show is surprisingly entertaining considering I originally watched it just to look at Nina Dobrev.

dunno some good characters have goon poop I wouldnt have wanted to go poop namely:
Alaric Saltzman
Lexi (really liked her)
Jenna (say what you want but I actually liked this char)


while not dead but missing due to MIA or daggered or whatever:
Elijah
Rebecca
Katarina Petrova (Katherin pierce)
Sheila Bennet (gramps, she was the only witch to actually tell the vampires to fuck off and threat them)


they kind of killed interesting chars, while not building up the remaining ones. + too many chars have turned into vampires/hybrids/wtf. There needs to be one major kickass human that isnt a vampire/hybrid/wtf and kicks ass like Buffy!

I see what you mean. I really did like Alaric, but the death was pretty well done so I'm cool with it. And they need to have Elijah and Sexy Becks around all the time.

I'm kinda hoping that Matt or Jeremy fulfill the whole "kick ass human" character at some point, but I kinda doubt they will.

I liked her also due to the fact that she was a "normal-life" counter-pole to all the "vampires-hurr-durr" shit.

Reminded me a bit of Joyce Summers from Buffy. That was also a very nice counter-pole to all the VampireSlayer things etc. and some episodes were really good with that. (Joyce Summers death was the most wtf/omg/I'm so sad episode I haver seen in any series)

The Vampire diaries feels in that department really 1Dimensional and flat compared to Buffy that really had alot depth in the Normal-Life category (xander trying to get a better job, getting his own appartment, willow and tara with their lesbian relationship, or relationships in general, normal problems at school, buffy trying to be responsible for dawn after joyce death etc etc etc. list goes on)

I use to watch this show but I gave up on it halfway thru last season.

got tired of the whole love triangle thing.

yaiie for Katarina Petrova (Katherine pierce) being back for a moment and gone again. But we will see more off her. They should have gotten dark willow for the role as evil/psycho bonny benet. I just dont feel it with that witchs behaviour.

Jeremy's probably not dead dead. At least that's my gut feeling until I find out if the actor's left the show.

Elena had me tearing up a little when she cried for Jeremy, will be interesting to see if she becomes Katerina 2.0.

Nah I think Jeremy is gone for good. He never had a real place in the previous seasons (was more an annoyance then anything else). Now he became a Hunter and thus actually had a place but he fullfilled his role and died. I dont think they will bring him back, if anything he is now used as a catalysator to drive Elena to the dark side!
