The 1.0 After Party! (post final save Nov 1-11)

Figured we should dedicate a new thread to all the happenings going on after the final save. Every day might bring something new until the impact.

I know there are some screenshots scattered thru the dev post threads but here's some I took.

The sky is like a permenent thunderstorm and Mobs pop outside and inside town, including Van Darnus who continues to spout his 'end of the world' babble. Imperial ships fly overhead in town.

Interested to see what will happen next.

Started with mobs at camps, then outside the city gates, now inside city.

Guessing this will be it until the last day but hope I'm wrong.

An emergency maintence is about to do the following:

- weaker mobs being replaced by stronger ones
- some strong mobs will now be stronger or unleash stronger attacks
- mobs are now immune to Wrist Flick stun
- Anima now refreshes by 30

I wish they would just start handing out retardedly overpowered weapons/armor... or give us a Magitek mount so we can just spam:

You're not missing much to be honest. The maintenance added half a dozen level 100 magitek vanguards by the repair NPC in Ul'dah. Dragging them up the steps seems to glitch them and prevent them from attacking yet 20 minutes later my server has one at 99%. There's only about 20 people attacking it but still. My spells were doing about 15 damage max. It gets boring rather quick as these mobs aren't going to die without hundreds of people spamming attacks and if they do they will just respawn I'm guessing.

Of course it's pointless lol. Your data isn't even being saved now so they can't really give this any purpose.
It's simply a way to show the end of the world.

I did not mean it progress wise just as an event. The reps on the lodestone say "go defend the cities guys" and there is no way anyone can kill any of those mobs. I missed like 20 times in a row and got hit for 9999.

Imperial H-1s should fight the other agressive monsters like the morbols and void stuff... Why are they all getting along?!?!?

It's the end of the world, players have to feel completely overwhelmed now by these monsters. They should throw some primals in as well, go all out.

It's not the end of the world. The end of the world is 9 days from now. They escalated way too quickly. It went from ok maybe 30-40 people working together could clear the mobs to no chance, ever, and it's only like the 3rd day? There's nowhere left to go from here.

That's when Dalamud hits. In the meantime Atomos is filling the world with these things and making everything much worse.
Honestly why does it even matter if you can kill them or not? No progress is being saved and maybe they're trying to force people out of towns. I've heard that the pilgrimage locations are full of imperials now so maybe there are other changes to the world. Let monsters roam and see what's happening elsewhere.

We just took down a Lv.100 Magitek Vanguard H-1 that I think took a good 5 hours to kill on Durandal.

Nothing happened of course.

Well, the attacks in Ul'dah did seem to stop, but we may have just killed everything and the H-1 was the last thing alive since it had a batrillion HP.

From what I'm reading on the OFs /praying at the Vanguards is what you're meant to do. After you kill them monsters attack LL.

Seems there's more to this event than what I said earlier.
