While I had a ton of fun with FFXI, I can't say it's a favorite because I haven't picked it back up after I quit. Games like Diablo II, Starcraft, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, any of the Final Fantasy series, Metal Gear series, and Breath of Fire series just renews itself with each playthrough. Then don't get me started on Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Madden, all of which are played regularly though not quite as much as they used to. And FUCK forgot Grand Theft Auto. Damn this list, DAMN YOU!!!

BoF III was so great. I had to edit my post immediately. Can't believe I forgot it. FFT/WotL had the spot at first. And I'm the same as you, I haven't touch XI since I quit, but man, what a great time in my young life.
