Melee and Brawl are pretty much interchangeable. I'm aware Melee is a more solid fighter in a technical sense, but I enjoyed the roster/atmosphere/content of Brawl more.

Pains me to leave games like LTTP and Mario 64 off the list.

3. Secret of Mana. (most enjoyable multiplayer battle system of all time)

So many other epic games that are so close. X3: Reunion (xtended mod) is basically morrowind in space. I've also played a really, really embarrassing amount of Zangband. Duke Nukem3d, Final Fantasy IV, V, VI, XII, all great. Chrono trigger, Mario cart 64. so many great games it was hard to choose 5, heh. have to mention more. sim city 2000, odin's sphere, disgaea, Diablo 2, Minecraft, Empire Total War. moo2 (played that a ton). when I look at games now, it's amazing. I'm old enough to remember a friend having pong...... and I still have my snes box and reciept that I bought on my own when I was 13, heh.
