WTB: Ipod repair?

Have a 2nd gen ipod touch and I was wondering if anyone here would be able to repair it for a reasonable price.

Basically, I just need to replace the headphone jack. It's like 4 bucks on Amazon, but I watched a video on how to replace it and I would pretty much break my Ipod, so I don't even want to think of trying to do it myself

If I had the tools, I'd offer to do it, as I used to repair wafer-thin Toshiba laptops, among other things; I'm quite comfortable with working on devices that have access areas as thin as a hairline. However, I have never specifically worked with an iLikeSlaveLabor product. Newer iPhones and the latest iPad are difficult to work with, as Apple prefers the "throw it out and buy a new one" policy, but I believe that older products of theirs aren't as bad.

(And if I broke it, I'd probably just send you one of my modded Sansa MP3 players in exchange.)

I just replaced the jack in my 4s. I could do it if you had the parts, i believe I have all the tools to do it.

Hmm, I'll have to look and see how expensive parts are. Only place around here that is able to repair wants to charge 60+ bucks, in which case, I'd just put out another 30 and get a new Ipod

Ill fix it for free since from previous posts I've read from you, you're poor as shit and Merry Festivus and all. I bought y jack from ifixit but they were a bit higher then some other sellers I saw.

As long as you cover shipping and what not, I can fix it for free.
