The weird smell caused by asparagus is an enzyme called mercaptan. Your genetic makeup determines whether you break down that compound to make the weird pee smell. It's completely normal (even though yeah, it smells real funky).

My pee smells when I eat asparagus too. Also some Asian vegetables do a similiar thing (like when I eat bibimbap), it's more skunky though.
Coffee and Campbell's chunky soups (from the cans) also create an odor.

As for dyed poo, anything that has an unresonable amount of food coloring in it will do it. For me, most recently it was Ruggle's Superkid ice cream... pretty sure it was 50% food coloring and 50% ice cream.

Same here.... I only started "tolerating" asparagus in the last couple years.. The first time I smelled that I thought there was really something wrong with me.
