People have an ideal mate height? I got to that question and just stopped -- height isn't really something I care about, so I didn't really know how to get past that question. I don't know if a 'I don't care' button for that question would be in any way detrimental to your survey though.

I'm rather shocked that this hasn't been asked yet. Do people seriously care about their mate's height? I might get weirded out with someone at some extreme height, but shit, I sure don't have an ideal number for someone to line up against.

If you're an average heterosexual man, the average woman is shorter than you, and you dont think about this. If you're an average heterosexual woman, the average man is taller than you, and you dont think about this either. But I'm pretty sure short men and tall women have a harder time dating overall. In my case, I've always liked tall guys (taller than me), and all of my friends have boyfriends/husbands taller than they are, so I feel like I'm not asking for anything more than a basic requirement. The survey said "Ideal", and hell yes I would like a man +6" taller than me, but that kind of man is really rare, because I'm already 5'11". Would I go for my best guy friend who is 5'10" if he was single? Of course, but if he was the same guy and 6'5", I would be weak in the knees, because being tall/broad just does it for me.

I represent the BGSU (BG-Survey-Union). It was in our good grace to do these surveys for free, but we feel like the surveyors need something back. People do get paid on average 10 cents per survey. Now, we are not asking for everything, but a sensible 50/50 split. Other terms and conditions of the proposed agreement will be discussed later. If an agreement cannot be reached, future surveys may be jeopardized and our members may take their surveying skills elsewhere.
