My feels are all over the radar.

So are we totally sure this is bahamut and not shinryu? Just making sure.![]()
he destroys all the villages;(
That huge battle at the start of the trailer was meant to be us in Mor Dhonna, I guess they did the best they could given the servers.
It really makes me wonder if there won't be a dimension shift as well. No other way the world isn't totally obliterated, fits in with Atomos, and gives Yoshi-P all the "excuses" in the world to incorporate stuff directly from other titles.
What I'm saying is that FFXIV is the Dark Tower of the FF universe. Speculation, of course!
HOLY FUCK
That video
If the prayers to the twelve had worked, and stopped further damage, that'd be one thing. But aren't we looking at a situation where a creature that just obliterated the land roams unchecked?
Just had to post this from the OF since I thought it was golden:
It all makes sense now, people.Originally Posted by kimoi

Also, good stuff from OF:
What are you talking about? Didn't you see the end of the trailer? Thanks to the help of the Twelve and Louisoix, all the adventurers R0'd to escape the wrath of Bahamut.
I'm hoping they will release some lore or backstory of what becomes of Bahamut now, I don't think that he could seriously be just free roaming the world now causing that much havoc if in 5 years time things are being rebuilt and the world is being reformed.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Dalamud acts as a sarcophagus and a power source feeding and reviving him, and when at his peak this is the final product, a super powered badass that cannot be rivaled. I wish they showed just the final moment of him releasing Giga Flare and wiping out the last bit, would have been epic.
I think the connections between Nael, megaflare, and there being a Dragon sealed within Dalamud is enough for me to think its Bahamut.
Shinryu has almost always been a more asian style serpent-like dragon though. Bahamut normally gets the Medieval treatment.
Edit: And isn't the time-skip supposed to be more like 100 or so years?
Reminded be a lot of Bahamut destroying Alexandria too. Sure that was on a much smaller scale but still Bahamut being a badass. Can't wait to see/read how they even survived this and rebuilt.
It's funny how they've been hinting at Bahamut being the one sealed inside yet no one ever mentioned him lol. Looking back all things make sense.
While we're on topic, I wonder what the heck happened to Hildibrand.
Yeah it pretty much has to be Bahamut, and I'm pretty sure there was mentions of him in the lore too. At least I vaguely remember it.
Here's the vid since it's being buried:
Spoiler: show
Mm. Shinryu is a much more serpent, no legs kind of dragon design, while Bahamut tends to be more the type with hind legs.
