I always like giving people a heads up on an easy way to donate to charity without emptying your pockets in a bad economy (outside of a postage stamp in this case).

Anyway, Macy's has mailboxes in their stores now that say Santa Mail. For every Santa letter they receive they will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish foundation up to one million dollars.

If you have kids, or know people/family who do, I can imagine this is a great way to get kids excited about "a special delivery to Santa" and at the same time donating to a good cause.

Fuck, if you're willing and have some stamps lying around you can make one yourself and pretend to be a kid so you can donate.
