I think there must be a real answer to this thread's question. It would be something like:

Positive:
( Weight for how good the sex is with the Nth partner ) * ( Number of sex-ings for the Nth partner )
( Excitement of finding the Nth partner)

Negative:
( Odds of STD per sex-ing with the Nth partner despite being careful ) * ( Odds of the Nth partner having the STD ) * ( Weight for how much the STD sucks )
( The annoyance of finding a the Nth partner )

You could keep adding terms, but this is enough to get the point. You would model the series' integration, derive that, look for the maxima, and figure out what was the best! If everything was constant (no nonlinearities in the terms), this would be a straight line that predicts you should either have 0 or an infinite number of partners because everything is first order. Really almost every term there is probably non-linear. You could introduce other nonlinearities if you went for threesomes, I think.

Not possible for us now, but if you hit 80 and look back at your life with many partners you could probably determine the point where you should have stopped.
