As someone who is usually against aversive stimulus...I would gladly be for its use on humans if that is what you're suggesting.

Currently has more votes than some of the state secession petitions.
A Sea slug doesn't have the shear egocentric mindset to discard learning to avoid changing its views.
Fucking rednecks need to get off the computer. Who taught these people how to use the internet?
I read about this on the BBC this afternoon & I'm glad that this topic was made.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-20301477More than 100,000 Americans have petitioned the White House to allow their states to secede from the US, after President Barack Obama's re-election.
The appeals were filed on the White House's We the People website.
Most of the 20 states with petitions voted for Republican Mitt Romney.
The US constitution contains no provisions for states to secede from the union. By Monday night the White House had not responded.
In total, more than 20 petitions have been filed. One for Texas has reached the 25,000-signature threshold at which the White House promises a response.
The last time states officially seceded, the US Civil War followed.
Most of the petitions merely quote the opening line of America's Declaration of Independence from Britain, in which America's founders stated their right to "dissolve the political bands" and form a new nation.
Currently, the most popular petition is from Texas, which voted for Mr Romney by some 15 percentage points more than it did for the Democratic incumbent.
The text complains of "blatant abuses" of Americans' rights.
It cites the Transportation Security Administration, whose staff have been accused of intrusive screening at airports.
Texas is at 84,681 signatures.

I gotta give em the TSA thing. Security theater is a bunch of bullshit.
Not that it's going to happen, but doesn't Texas have a legit clause in their constitution that allows them to secede?
Wait, if Texas pulled out, would their senators/representatives being gone AND the changed seat count, be just enough to shift Congress to a dem majority/supermajority?
I look forward to Texas declaring war on Mexico as it's first act.
Quick google-fu:
There is no provision in the Texas Constitution (current or former) that reserves the right of secession, but it does state that "Texas is a free and independent State, subject only to the Constitution of the United States" ... not to the President of the US or even the Congress of the US.
Article 1, Section 1 of the Texas Constitution - FREEDOM AND SOVEREIGNTY OF STATE
Texas is a free and independent State, subject only to the Constitution of the United States, and the maintenance of our free institutions and the perpetuity of the Union depend upon the preservation of the right of local self-government, unimpaired to all the States.
Nevermind.
Texas v. White, United States Supreme Court, (1869)
In 1869, the Supreme Court ruled that secession of Texas from the United States was illegal. The court wrote, "The Constitution, in all its provisions, looks to an indestructible Union, composed of indestructible States." The court did allow some possibility of the divisibility "through revolution, or through consent of the States."
Let's not kid ourselves. If, somehow, Texas decided to leave, they wouldn't be alone. The resulting political shift in the remaining states would completely change the party system. The current dem part might become the middle party, the remaining republicans the right, and there would probably emerge a newer, left-er leaning party, the neo-dems or something. America would be fundamentally altered by the change.
I might disagree with policies, but what America has achieved over it's 200 years and how it has grown and changed should be celebrated, not torn apart. The loss of Texas would be a loss of national identity...even ignoring stupid issues like free travel, border patrols, military forces and integration...
If you think everyone in Oregon loves Obama, you haven't been to Eastern Oregon.
