    Randomly shutting off.

Hey all, my Desktop PC will randomly loose all power. I'm not sure what to troubleshoot and I have updated all the drivers I could. Any advice?

By that do you mean it suddenly shuts down?

System doesn't do the Shutting Down screen, it just turns off.

Yeah that's what I meant. It might be overheating. You tried cleaning the cpu/gpu?

also if you have a weak power supply and its overloaded, it can do that
or if the power in your house is going off (sometimes lights dont turn off when the power flickers)
could also be a short on the system

is this new, how long has the computer been built, etc etc

I just installed everything brand new and have an aftermarket CPU cooler with two extra case fans. A 200MM and a 120 both pulling air out. With SpeedFan program, it says my GPU is at around 80C while playing GW2. My CPU is fine though, but the individual cores get hot. Between 40-50C. I built it last, last Wednesday. It has a 750W powersupply.

I did, but then it shutoff on me again. Oh, and I do get a CPU Fan Error sometimes on startup, but then the SpeedFan thing is telling me it's running alright.

List of components? Check HWMonitor temps as well, does the PC just shutdown at any time (even low load situations like browsing/desktop) or only during gaming?

EDIT:: For CPU Fan error it could be either a slow fan or you didn't plug it into CPU fan port, can visually see that all fans are moving right?

And I just brought it down from 900MHz GPU Clock to 850MHz, and the Memory Clock from 1800MHz to 1700.

I'd say underclock it then stress test it again to see if it still happens.

Unigine Heaven is good GPU stress test/benchmark, Prime95 on Small FFT can be used for stressing just the CPU. Will help determine if it's an issue with either one

possibly the power supply or a short in the system
stupid question but you used thermal grease when you put the fan on and took the sticker off it
